Why we walk dogs together but not in a pack!🐕‍🦺
Since 2007, We Love Pets has been committed to a No Pack Walk Policy, which means that our dog walkers never walk a group of more than four dogs (from a maximum of three households) at any time. In an industry that is largely unregulated, we have worked hard to increase awareness of the dangers of pack-walking while advocating for the welfare rights of animals in the UK.

Throughout the rest of January we will be raising awareness about pack walking and discussing how We Love Pets dog walks work😊 Watch this space🐾

These 3 boys are firm friends 😍 A very muddy puddle is simply irresistible to our Portuguese Water Dog friends! 🤦‍♀️😂 Hose showers all round for this lot before they went home! ☺️ We love to see our doggo friends living their best life 😁👍

Here at Cranleigh We Love Pets Ltd we are now looking to employ 3 new part time dog walkers and 1 new full time dog walker. We are a small team of 6 currently but now we are slowly going back to our normal lives, we are getting more and more enquiries from customers who will be needing help with their 4 legged family members and we have reached the point where we need to increase our dog walking capacity.

Applicants will need to have their own car and most of our walking customers prefer their pups to be walked between the hours of 09.30 am and 5pm with lunchtime (between 11am and 2pm) being our busiest time.

You will be required to have a full DBS check and also to complete 2 courses, including animal first aid and safe dog walking.

At We Love Pets, we NEVER pack walk. The absolute maximum number of dogs we will walk at any one time is 4 dogs from 3 households but it is unusual to have 4 and we mostly walk our dogs in pairs or 3’s.

If your application is successful, we will pay for all of your required training courses and DBS check, we will also provide you with your uniform, dog car seat belts, poo bags and leads.

We are looking hours contract as Covid is still making things somewhat uncertain, we do however aim to move you onto a 10hr per week contract as soon as possible and you will be entitled to annual leave as you accrue it.

We are a friendly team and there will be scope to progress your career with us once we are more established as we will be needing more walkers and boarders and consequently more supervisors.

Pay is £10 p/h and this will cover pay for your travel time between dogs and mileage too.

Please bear with us for the next few days if you’re trying to reach us. As you all know, Jo’s puppy Ari had been very poorly over the last month and unfortunately today, he has become unwell again. Jo will be monitoring any messages/emails etc but may not be able to get back to you as quickly as she would like to as she will be dealing with this.

Well, it’s been a little longer than a week as we have been so busy looking after our lovely Cranleigh We Love Pet’s Ltd animal family…..which is what we are here for after all! 😊 It is time, though, to introduce you to another member of our team, the lovely Helen 😊

Helen has been with us from day one and is an invaluable member of the team who is now full time. Helen not only walks a number of our regular doggo customers but she also boards, provides daycare, performs small animal visits and has chickens to stay! 😊

As our team is growing quickly, we will soon be training Helen up as a supervisor.

Helen has always loved animals and is thrilled to have a job where she is able to take outstanding care of our customers pets. Helen is married to a local game keeper and lives on the beautiful country estate where her husband works with their 8 year old son.

Helen and her family have 6 working spaniels who are highly trained gun dogs. They are not house pets and live in their kennels 😊. Helen also has 3 cats who are, fortunately, very dog savvy and also a flock of chickens and ducks. She is working on getting some goats too but she needs to convince the family first! 😂

Helen is a firm favourite with both our four legged friends and our customers alike and we are so grateful for her hard work and dedication over the last year. 😊

Hello! I just wanted to let all our clients know that there is an issue with our work phone currently due to the storm. I can see I have messaged but I am unable to access them. We are running a little behind on our rounds today due to staff sickness and there being a few trees down across our region...never fear though, we are getting to everyone 💪😊

We may swap some walks into garden playtime where appropriate as some dogs can be unpredictable in high winds such as these and get spooked easily. We will be avoiding wooded area today.

Introducing the team at Cranleigh We Love Pets Ltd!

We are sure our name is out there now, with the number of requests we are getting for our services, so we thought it may be a good idea to begin introducing the Cranleigh We Love Pet’s Ltd team to you! Today we will focus on our Company Director Jo.

Jo has spent the last 20yrs working on the emergency ambulances as an Advanced Technician for South East Coast Ambulance Service. She has loved her time doing this but various injuries sustained throughout the years of performing this role have taken their toll and last year she decided it was time for a change.

Jo has ALWAYS loved animals of every shape and size and her family includes 2 rescue cats, 5 chickens and a 6 month old Rottweiler puppy, all of whom she adores 😍 so, working with animals seemed an obvious choice for her next career.

Jo did a lot of research and found the company We Love Pets (WLP). She particularly liked the fact that WLP were clearly far more interested in animal welfare than profits and was thrilled when she got through the interview process and was offered the chance to be a WLP franchisee!

Jo took on the franchise, having completed a number of required courses, including a City and Guilds qualification, last February......which was unfortunate given the lockdown starting soon after this. 🤦‍♀️ Launch of the branch was delayed until August 2020 due to Covid but the franchise has gone from strength to strength since its beginning last year.

Jo is currently still working 3 shifts a week on the ambulances but has just applied to reduce her hours there again thanks to the support of her loyal clients and their lovely pets 😊

We now have 9 members of staff in our team and Jo is very proud of how hard everyone is working to ensure all of the pets we have in our Cranleigh We Love Pets Ltd family have the best time whilst we are with them and to make this venture a success. 😊

We will be introducing you to another member of our team each week 😊👍

A very wet and cold day for walkies today but Milo didn’t mind at all! 😊 His catching skills are second to none! 😊 We love this boy 😍

Jo could not have been prouder of these two pups yesterday! 😊 Pia and Lucas are two of the sweetest dogs ever and have clearly had a lot of training put into them by their owners, their recall is amazing! 😊 They can, however, be reactive to other dogs (just barking and posturing but they look and sound intimidating to other walkers if they don’t know these pups). We have been walking them 5days a week for a couple of weeks now and really working on their response to other dogs passing them. Yesterday was the first day where they both sat quietly and looked relaxed whilst another dog walked on by, even the owner of the passing dog voiced how good it was to see this pair so relaxed around another dog. They got massive hugs and an extra 15minutes of walkies as Jo was just so pleased with them and for them 😊😍😍 Obviously, since most of this route is through woodland, this was the ONLY stick available for them to play with! 😏😂
