World of Water Crawley has been open over 30 years and serves both the coldwater and tropical market ranging from small aquariums up to the largest of ponds. tion for all your pond and aquarium needs, backed up with expert knowledge from our staff and our ‘Price Promise’ guarantee. Our stand alone site is just on the outskirts of Crawley on the main road towards Turners Hill Village. Free parking is available on site for over 50 cars and we are also serviced by the Metrobus 84 bus route. We are a destination centre with 2 acres of beautiful show gardens giving inspiration and creativity on how to renovate and install a water feature or pond into your garden. Families are more than welcome to enjoy their lunch in our picnic area surrounded by the wonderful sound of water and smell of flowers. Once inside the store you’ll also find a complete range of pumps, filters, pond equipment, aggregates and consumables. We’re packed full of high grade koi and a full selection of all popular pond fish species. Our koi systems are run on the latest filtration technology, please allow us to show you how easy cleaning a filter can be. Whilst an emphasis is placed on water gardening throughout the busy summer season we also have an extensive and thriving tropical fish house and range of aquariums and also stock a wide variety of consumables. You will also find a complete and thorough range of substrates, ornaments, tools and backgrounds to complete the look and feel of your aquarium. Our tropical fish house has over 100 aquariums of tropical, Temperate and Coldwater fish. We also have a 1400L display aquarium which always has the wow factor homing some amazing tropical fish from around the world.

Live plants are an excellent addition to a freshwater or tropical tank. In addition to looking great, they benefit the aquarium as they produce oxygen in daylight hours, which in turn helps to stabilise pH levels. They also help prevent algae growth by using nutrients produced by fish waste, uneaten food and organic debris. The plants also provide a place for fish to hide and can encourage them to spawn.

“OASE 🌿💚

This last weekend I got out my OASE UK pondovac 3 to clear my net of leaves and clean my filter out ready for the winter ahead.

I love my pondovac 3, it runs continuously and empties and discharges into the garden as and when required.

I purchased my pondovac from World of Water with the aid of their expert advice. It’s a great wet and dry vac and it serves my pond and garden well.

When I say “cleaned” my filter, it was the tiniest remnants as my filter again is an Oase filtoclear- which I’m hoping to upgrade to the new model. My whole pond is just powered by Oase lights, water trio, filtoclear 12000 and my Aquamax eco premium pump, and my FM MASTER WLAN that is app controlled as well as my aqua oxy airpump!

You may know that your friend has a pond but are unsure on what they need, well that’s where gift vouchers come in very handy as they will regularly want a new piece of equipment, or in the spring they may wish to add pond plants and every time their beautiful water lilies bloom it will remind them of you!
