🌟 Superstars! 🌟

What a couple of weeks it has been for some of our own and connected horses!

Firstly, an enormous congratulations to Fiona Bigwood, who competed Newton Sylvanite (5yo,bred by ourselves) and Quinn G (6yo), at the World Breeding Championships in Ermelo. Sylvanite did us all proud, gaining some fantastic scores and experience, finishing 14th in the small final, while Quinn G stormed to victory, taking the 6 year old title. Two super exciting horses for the future!

Dannie Morgan and Fever Tree were also in action in Ermelo, Fever Tree was born here and lived with us until he was 1yo,before going home to live with his breeder David Stone. As a young horse being aimed for Grand Prix, this show provided enormous experience for Fever Tree and we can't wait to see where the future takes him.

Mari Durward-Akhurst and Athene Lindebjerg took a bronze medal in the Grade 1 freestyle at the Paris Olympics. Athene lived with us for several years and produced four fantastic offspring, they have some big footsteps to follow!

And finally......we were out competing 😱! We took some of our lovely babies to the British Hanoverian Horse Society annual show. They all behaved beautifully and the highlight was Elite Dressage's 2yo filly, Newton Dancing Sands, taking the reserve youngstock champion.

🏅 Good luck mum! 🏅

Athene Lindebjerg and her rider, Mari Durward-Akhurst, are taking to the paralympic stage later today and Athene's four super babies want to wish them the very best of luck!

Athene lived with us for several years and produced four beautiful offspring, by Grand Galaxy Win, Fidertanz and two by Danone.

We will all be tuning in this afternoon to cheer her and Mari on!

The countdown has begun! Just 5 days until the Newton Stud Open Day on the 17th August! We're in the final stages of preparation, and the excitement is building. 🌟 We can't wait to welcome you all for what is going to be a jam packed day of foal grading from some of the world's best bloodlines and demos from the Elite Dressage team. 🐴✨

⭐️ Foal Friday ⭐️

We are so proud of these two magnificent horses, who are on their way to the World Breeding Championships in Ermelo next month.

Fever Tree, bred by David Stone and our own Newton Sylvanite. Both were born here, Fever Tree (Gordon) left to live with David as a weanling, and Sylvanite (Seth) grew up in the Devon hills.

It is so thrilling to have seen them born and grow up, to now see them taking to the world stage! We will definitely be going along to Ermelo to cheer them on and we will be watching this year's foals closely at our Open Day on the 17th, to spot our next future champions!

Congratulations to all the connections of these two super horses.

The following horses and riders have been selected to represent Great Britain this week at the Longines FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo, the Netherlands, 4 - 8 September 2024.
