Last night this family arrived after being dumped ( obviously not feral ) in someone's garden, where they have been feeding them for some time.
Mum, current kittens and a previous kitten , full of fleas .
Now treated and decompressing together .
Welcome
We took Sonny and Thor to join Jane at her farm .
3 rescues have tried with these but they remain reactive and stressed , so I made the decision that this supported life was the best for them.
They join 3 other cats from Audley , lots of goats, turkeys and chickens and lots of land and barns to explore .
A life where they can be carefree but looks looked after.
Winning number for 3.11.24 is 31 Julie Richards , please send your details over

Sunday afternoon activity .
Fern had her babies 5 weeks ago and after 2 weeks would have liked them to be removed, but we persisted and got them to this point but she has clearly had enough.
They paddled through food and mum will not clean them so this afternoon involves working and bathing them.
What fun 😊
Thank you to all those who volunteered for us at the Betley Bonfire, much appreciated.
We have just cleared the site and collected all the cones and just enjoying the bonfire 🔥😁
How thin this lady is became apparent when we removed the kittens and she actually started to move about.
We fed her very well for the few weeks before she had her babies but her starvation has been going on for some time ago the added pressure of the babies .
Totally unacceptable

A heartbreaking night as I listened to a mummy looking for her babies ,neuter your cats ,don't be irresponsible and make excuses.
Rescues are at breaking point and cats are dying and suffering
Thank you to Eyes Cats who went and trapped these for me , reports of possibly 2 pregnant ladies and 3 kittens all poorly .
These have started treatment and flea treated as full of them.
The traps are out as we try everything to get the mums and not leave them behind even it's it's a TNR
Yin and Yang s mum has gone to spay , she is one of the Shelton ladies who went to spay thinking she was a boy to find out she was pregnant , babies are now old enough to remove and worked with, as it's been hands off.
Crystal was trapped in Chesterton, had her babies with another rescuer and now come to be spayed and we have a farm waiting for her.
I have told her she has to be a good girl , Misty is going to trial an adoption tomorrow with Elli and James but she has to behave and get in with 4 boys who they have previously adopted.
What a 24 hours , we have 3 babies all suckling well and will stay with mum for the next 36 hours then the lovely Rachel a vet nurse at Hope vets is going to hand feed them - I am very grateful.
It's heartbreaking but mum needs to recover and won't whilst they are pulling from her resources, so under vet advice we will remove them.
Thank you to vet Sam for doing everything he could to prevent a cesarian and to Tracey who was here like a shot this morning to help me get the morning feed done.
