And last but not least, two handsome hounds Bellamy and Rufus all clean and smelling lovely ready for Santa Paws visit 🐾

After a couple of busy weeks in the salon, I can finally say that’s a wrap for another year until the 9th January…..Phew 😮‍💨😄☺️

A huge thank you to all my lovely customers new and returning for your business, the chats and laughs and for trusting me with your precious fur babies this year ❤️🐶

Thank you also for the cards, chocolates and gifts etc. They are very much appreciated 🥰🎅🏼🤶🏼🎄

All booked appointments will be uploaded to the system asap after Christmas and I will be in touch at the beginning of January to get all dogs sorted that aren’t already confirmed!

For now, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2025 🥂🎉

A stressed dog is much more likely to have an accident/incident🐾
They may knock something over, chew on something dangerous, or try to jump over a fence or gate, for example.
⛄️Christmas can be a very stressful time for our dogs with changes to routine, more people about, more noise (fireworks, party poppers, crackers), even furniture being repositioned to make room for a tree❗(MY DOG!! )
Maybe even more so if you’re away from home❗
✔ Please consider your dog’s wellbeing in your plans.
✔ Watch for changes in behaviour and body language.
✔ Try to maintain the dog’s routine.
✔ If you’re away from home: check how secure the garden is, keep them on a lead on walks, pack familiar items and favourite toys, don’t leave them on their own for very long.
These tips can help your dog enjoy the holiday season more!🎄

I got to meet this sweet nervous little lady, Honey yesterday 🥺

She came in along with my regular, Elsa to familiarise herself with the salon and bathing area, whilst Els showed her the ropes.
She willingly jumped up and down into the bath and on and off the table, it was so sweet seeing her come out her shell after having a difficult start in life bless her 😘

We did a light paw, ears and eye trim to see how she does and she took it all in her stride and I can’t wait for their next visit 🫂🥰

Beautiful Rosie before and after her grooming session 🥰 it’s been a few months since her last visit but she did really well and we had some playtime after with the ball to help her decompress and have fun 👏🏼🦮🐾

✨ Doggy Enrichment Idea✨ Part 2 A bit of natural scentwork for my Millie moo around the trees this afternoon 🥰🐾 This is a great, free way, to get them using their brains/ nose finding the kibble or treats, around all the other smells and tires them out the same as a 20 minute walk would do ☺️ She loves this game! I know you are supposed to mark then reward but this is our made up version as she’s losing her sight now and an older girl of 15 🥺 I say ‘go find’ for her to sniff out the treats, mark ‘yes’ when she finds them and say ‘last one’ so she knows there’s one left as she struggles to see ☺️ she’s so clever
