A common comment is they bite for no reason, there is ALWAYS a reason.Some reasons a dog might show aggression or bite are, Fear - A dog may bite when it feels threatened or scared. This can happen if the dog is approached too quickly or if it feels cornered.Neurological - Biting due to neurological reasons can occur when a dog has a brain disorder or injury that affects its behavior and impulse control.Pain or Discomfort - If a dog is in pain due to injury or illness, it may react by biting when touched or approached. This is a defensive mechanism.Frustration - A dog that is restrained, such as on a lead could bite due to frustration. Resource Guarding Dogs may bite to protect food, toys, or other valued items.
