People say cockers don’t walk to heal!

Rubbish, we don’t even say heal, in fact not a single command was ever given to this dog, and no food rewards offered!

Very sadly one of my clients is unable to keep their young Gordon Setter puppy. Born February 2021.

A family crisis means a massive upheaval and they did not take making this dreadfully sad decision lightly!

Foe the time being the pup is back with me and continuing training.

Anyone looking for an exceptionally well bred, from amazing lines and fully health tested parents ( father a field trial champion, mother a wonderful working and pet dog ) please contact me.

This little 8 month old girl “Ochre” ( one of my own working cocker spaniels ) was doing further “Place” training whilst I had a well deserved Cider down the local pub.

Finger crossed we get a positive ultrasound scan around 9th January 2021.

Then it’s the waiting game for her to whelp around 13th February 2021.

We plan to keep a girl from this litter.

Let’s hope a little from 2020 (the year from hell) moves into 2021 and make that a good year !

Well today was the first day for one of our clients dogs to join them and us out on a live shoot for the first time.

“Willow” did very well all around on some marked retrieves as well as sweeping an area to find downed birds.

Great little day out with her and her owner.
