Yesterday our wonderful yard was sold. After living at the property for 8 years we decided to sell up during COVID. The yard has been taken over by a lovely family who want to run it privately. So sadly the livery business has come to an end.
Thanks for the friendship and fabulous horses we met along the way. Onto our next exciting chapter 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

Groom required, Barlaston Staffordshire

We are looking for a groom starting this Autumn. Ideally live in, self contained flat available. 4 horses to care for, some riding and care/teaching my daughter and her pony. Also some dog walking, chicken care and house sitting duties.

The position is 5 days a week approximately 4 hours a day split over morning and evening duties. The rest of your time is your own.

Must have horse care experience, be self motivated friendly, flexible and most of all love animals and children!!

Rate of pay flexible depending on experience and if living in or not.

Duties include:
🐴 All yard work
🐴clipping/ trimming to a high standard
🐴bathing / plaiting / show preperation
🐴lunging
🐴 riding (including competing) for the right candidate
🐴 opportunity to travel to all the Uk top shows
