Elvis absolutely smashed his first session today and what a difference 🤩

To prevent plaque build up, you should book your dog in every 4-8 weeks for a maintenance appointment.
This will prevent gum disease, and the possible risk of tooth extraction.

Another successful first teeth clean session.
The vets advised this customer to have their dog’s teeth cleaned by a groomer to avoid sedation.
You could imagine, the owner was thrilled to see a difference just after one session.

Thank you to everyone that has contacted me regarding canine teeth cleaning.
I am completely inundated with messages & emails- the best way to describe my feeling at this precise time is ‘overwhelmed’.

Just a polite ask, please give me the chance and time to reply back to every single one of you.
Within 24 hours, I have had 51 people contact me regarding the service.
I am a one man band with this business, working 5/6 days of the week, and I have my own personal life.

I can’t always answer the phone as I’m either concentrating, sc******ng a dog’s face or I have ear defenders on so please leave a message.

If I haven’t replied back to you, I will within 48 hours after your point of contact.

These teeth cleaning sessions are slowly becoming my new favourite thing 😍
Strangely therapeutic and the dogs so far have been very relaxed with the process.
The results have been noticeable after every appointment which is great!
Healthy dogs & happy owners 😃

The gorgeous Pip came for her first teeth clean session last week and the results were too good to be true.

The Molars were heavily coated with plaque, it was near impossible to see the teeth.
An hour later, and the plaque had shifted off without causing any pain or discomfort for Pip.
There was a lot to remove so I wasn’t able to shift the rest of the tartar so Pip is coming back for another hour session to remove the rest.
The left hand side photos show Pip’s teeth before the teeth clean and the right side show’s the results afterwards.

Sweet little Bramble came for her first teeth clean session in July for a 60 minute appointment, followed by a 30 minute teeth clean in September.
To make the most of the visit, she had her grooms within both sessions.
A healthy coat, and a shiny smile 😃

Her mum has been doing a great job, keeping on top of her coat and oral health since a young pup.
She’s always well behaved with great table manners 😍

This was star’s first ever teeth clean session and boy, was it a successful one ✨
Star was the perfect model.

Last week Maxx had 2 welfare checks to break his day up. A gentle stroll to stretch his legs and a cheeky cuddle for this good boy.

My day finished off with a home visit to Megan.
As Megan is elderly and so are her owners, leaving the house is not an option for both.
A well needed de-shed, pad trim & nail clip was given while she led on her bed.

Mobile grooming isn’t something I do anymore but for those who are vulnerable and commuting is a struggle, I can come to them if needed.

One of my customers is moving away to another country and is looking for a loving home for her 6 year old, neutered yorkie x Maltese.

As she describes him ‘’sassy, stubborn, bags of character & LOVES to play’’.
I have been grooming him the past year every 6 weeks and his confidence has improved by each appointment.
I can vouch, that he is a lovely, energetic dog who will be your long life shadow.

He would suit a home with no children but another dog in the house would be preferred.
He gets along with small/medium size dogs (preferred).

She wants to find that loving home for him and will share any details about him, along with a meet & greet before agreement.
She is moving away beginning of December so the dog will have to be rehomed by end of November.

All up to date with vaccines, missing a few teeth but overall his health is 100%.
His owner will be booking him in for a vet check before he finds his forever home.

Have you recently looked at your dog’s teeth? If no, then take a minute to look 👀

Over time, the tartar damages the teeth, causing painful, inflamed gums (gingivitis), cavities, tooth loss and full of bacteria that can enter the blood and cause problems in the kidneys, heart and liver.

Your dog’s oral health is just as important as your own.
Booking in regular teeth cleaning sessions will prevent these long term issues & the cost of vet bills.

The results speak volumes from one recent teeth clean session ✨

The first set of pictures show Hugo’s teeth on the first visit.
An hour appointment was needed and this was the result afterwards.
The second lot of photos are 4 weeks later, where Hugo then came in for a ‘top up’ maintenance clean for 30 minutes as I had managed to shift the majority of the tartar off from the first visit.
You can see that even in 4 weeks, it does build up quick.

The proof shows and Hugo’s owner was thrilled to see the difference after one appointment.

Good morning on this beautiful autumn day! Let’s hope this continues till at least October 🍂 🍁 ☀️

We are now coming into the final stretch of the year...
I am now very limited on bookings for Christmas 2024.
If you would like your dog to look smart for the Christmas season, now is the time to book in those last minute grooms.
You can choose to either book in for a full groom, ‘bath & brush’ appointments for a little tidy up for the celebration, or maybe you want to treat your pup to a clean smile with a teeth cleaning appointment 🦷

My last available appointments before Christmas are the 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th & 18th December.
Last year, many were left disappointed as I was unable to fit in last minute appointments for grooms the week before christmas.
The same will happen this year so please book in now.

While we are on this topic, I am taking bookings for next year.
Congrats to those 5 customers who have block booked groom appointments till Christmas 2025!! 😂
Organisation is key 😉

A lovely Saturday had with these good pups 😍

All three were washed in a coconut & oatmeal shampoo, coats deeply conditioned and skin nourished, layered brushing & combed through for a knot free coat, & lastly, scissored to style.
All 3 left, smelling of mulled orange 🍊

A before and after from Charlie’s session with me this week.
Charlie is an elderly Border Terrier. Due to their wire/rough coats, they should be handstripped, not clipped. This is because clipping a wire coat can change the coat texture- from wire to soft.
Border Terrier’s are one of many breeds that have a wire coat.

However, due to his age, patience is limited with sitting still for the duration. He also had a few warts all over his body.
This is where an exception is made when we would clip a wire coat.

Due to these factors, he had to be half stripped & the other half clipped. Handstripping was successful on his top half of his body (if you were to look from a Birds Eye view), and the lower half of the body from the top of the legs, down, had to be clipped.

This was his first time with me and he did so well, I couldn’t have asked for more. Well done Charlie 😃

one pup was on holiday in the area so a great opportunity to take full advantage of a haircut on holiday 🏖️
Remus who is a regular client, was so relaxed during his pamper, he fell asleep while being scissored 😂😍
And not mentioning any names, one pup decided to leave me a lovely gift on the table just after a bath 🤣 this job never ever has a dull day, and this is why I love it.
