🐎❤️🐎I am looking to run a 2 hours session once a month on a weekend aimed at people who would like to start loaning or looking to buy their own or who already do. Basic care of horse learn how to handle them and care for them safely. Will be open to adults, children and their parents. Will only run if enough interest. There will be a short riding part too ( parents won’t need to ride)❤️🐎❤️

Soap box time….

It’s 2024, our industry is under pressure from spiralling costs, insurance nightmares thanks to a litigious nation and social licence aspects.

Personally, I’ve a pain in my face lately still seeing videos and photos of people not wearing a hat. Not only does it set a horrific example to anyone younger watching but it’s stupidity and is only likely to again increase insurance costs for the rest of us.

It’s a rule here that all team members and liveries wear a helmet catching, turning out, lunging, riding, loading, unloading, clipping and anything else with an element of risk.

My brother has worked as a paramedic - funnily enough he had never heard accident survivors lament wearing safety equipment - usually the opposite - funny that 🙄
