Sadly deceased from the Mundesley Road area of Trimingham this afternoon.

Young female, DSH, tabby and white markings.

No collar or microchip present.

Sadly deceased, found opposite the petrol station in Roughton this afternoon.

Black and white DSH, adult female, with tuxedo markings and white paws.

Unfortunately no microchip or collar present.

🐰 RABBIT AWARENESS WEEK 🐰

This year's theme is 'Healthy Diet, Happy Bunnies', focusing on all things nutrition. 🥦🥬🥕
This week is dedicated to promoting the health, welfare and happiness of our much loved bunnies🐰

So here are a few essential tips to ensure your bunnies stay at their happiest and healthiest🐰

🥕 Provide a spacious hutch or enclosure: Rabbits need plenty of room to hop, play, and explore. Ensure their living space is large enough for them to stretch out and stand on their hind legs. Consider giving them access to a safe, secure outdoor area for fresh air and exercise.

🥕 A balanced diet: A rabbit's diet should primarily consist of hay, which helps maintain their dental health and digestive system. Supplement it with fresh vegetables like kale, carrots, and spinach. Limit fruit intake due to its high sugar content.

🥕 Fresh water at all times: Make sure your rabbit always has access to clean, fresh water. Consider using a drip bottle or a heavy ceramic bowl to prevent tipping.

🥕 Enrichment and toys: Rabbits are intelligent creatures that need mental stimulation. Provide them with toys, tunnels, and objects they can chew on to prevent boredom and keep their teeth healthy. Hide treats or hay to encourage foraging and natural behaviours.

🥕 Social interaction: Rabbits are social animals, and they thrive on companionship. Consider having at least two rabbits to keep each other company, or spend plenty of time bonding with your bunny through gentle petting and play.

🥕 Regular veterinary care: Just like any other pets, rabbits need routine check-ups and vaccinations.

CAT MICROCHIP: DROP IN CLINIC DAY!!🐱

Come on down and see our cat friendly nurses, no appointment needed! (Available 9:30-5pm)🐱

In case you missed it: The government have announced that on the 10th June 2024 it will become against the law for your cat(s) to not be microchipped, and you could face a fine up to £500 if this isn’t done or if your details are not kept up to date on the microchip. Kittens must be microchipped by 5Months old once this legislation is passed🐈

Microchipping your cat(s) gives us the best chance of reuniting you and your furry friend if they were to go missing!🐱

When the treats go missing and the vets suddenly suspect us..🐱✨

HELEN THE DACHSHUND…came in to see us as her owner had noticed she had been straining when going to the toilet with blood in her urine. After a quick work up and a urine test, our Vet Helen decided it would be best to get her booked in for an Ultrasound Scan and X-ray. It was determined that little Helen had a urine stone in her bladder🩺

If left, this could cause a lot of inflammation and pain within her bladder and also difficulty urinating. Helens owners were quick to get her booked in with our Vet Catherine, for the Bladder Stone Removal👩🏻‍⚕️

A successful surgery and Helen was back feeling like her normal self within a few hours. We hope Helen is enjoying her freedom from her urine stone🐶🐾✨
