Anybody that has spoken to me recently will know how passionate I am about canine nutrition and the need to start feeding our dogs CORRECTLY and THOUGHTFULLY.

The amount of dogs with skin conditions, ear infections, “allergies” are increasing year after year ….we are now at a level where over 50% of the dogs we groom are suffering. We have to ask WHY ??? In this age of veterinary advances why are dogs suffering so much. WHY?? Is life expectancy going down. WHY?? Is cancer in dogs increasing

I am so excited to say we have teamed up with Dougies who produce an amazing range of complete Raw Foods (complete means you don’t need to do anything ….its ready made, packaged, no mincing chopping etc which is what so many people think ) and I absolutely believe along with the growing hundreds of thousands of other owners that Raw or Species Appropriate Feeding (ie would you feed a lion in Chester Zoo a bucketful of ultra processed pellets. ??? ) is the most beneficial.

I’ve known Gabby for years and know she is perfect to join Emma, Caitlin and myself.

I’ve asked Gabby to tell you all a bit about herself….

“Dog grooming & a bit about me!
I absolutely love dogs….I love how loyal they are, their unconditional love, their zest for life and most of all their company!
During lockdown we were blessed with a Lhasapoo pup called “Buddy” ❤️ Spending so much time with this beautiful soul I quickly realised I preferred his company to most humans 🤣 Dogs are so pure, we do our best training and teaching our four-legged friends when infact they teach us so much more. This inspired me so much to make quite a drastic career change. Last March I took the leap and began my dog grooming training at a working salon in Formby. It was here that I completed my IPET Level 3 Diploma. I absolutely loved the course and was lucky enough to be kept on as a teaching assistant once I’d completed my assessments. What a great experience this was, however, teaching is not why I went into this so have landed on my feet with a dog grooming position at Bow Wow Wow ❤️🐾
Apart from my love for dogs, family is my everything, spending quality time with my husband, son, sisters, cousins and parents which all thankfully live nearby, we have have the best times. I love adventures, being in the outdoors, enjoying the simple things in life, cooking, good food, music, travel and anything that makes me laugh!”

This month we are really going to focus on Doggie dental health. We’ve loads of tips and advice …services and products to offer you so keep an eye out. 🐶 🦷 🐶Studies show that 80% of dogs over the age of three show some sign of dental disease. If teeth aren’t maintained properly, plaque and tartar will build up causing infection and gingivitis (bleeding gums) which leads to periodontal disease.
