Thankyou BRITISH ISLES GROOMING ASSOCIATION for posting this. We at Bow Wow Wow are horrified that these reels are going around the socials. This would never happen at our salon nor at any of the groomers we know.

A worrying trend is circulating on TikTok—pointing a forced air dryer directly into a dog's face. ❌ This is NOT acceptable grooming practice, and as an industry, we need to speak up!

Here’s why this should never be done:
🐶 Causes Extreme Stress – Blasting air directly at a dog’s face can be terrifying and overwhelming.
⚠️ Risk of Eye & Ear Damage – High-pressure air can cause irritation, dryness, or even injury to sensitive areas.
😟 Creates Bad Training Habits – Instead of desensitising dogs to dryers, this method reinforces fear and resistance.

📢 Professional grooming is about skill, care, and respect for the animal’s welfare. No reputable association or grooming expert would endorse this. Let’s educate, not exploit for views.

🚫 Stop the trend. Speak up for the dogs. 🚫

Could Your Dog’s Diet Be AFFECTING Their Health?

If your dog struggles with itchy skin, bad breath, or frequent ear infections, you’re certainly not alone! These issues are often considered normal, but could their diet be playing a role?
