Welcome to Wildmoor Walkies - Your Local Crowthorne Dog Walking Service

Wildmoor Walkies Dog Walking Service was established in 2014 by best friends Michelle and Vikki. In October 2022 Vikki hung up her leads and Michelle now runs the business by herself. Michelle knows the Crowthorne & Sandhurst area very well, including the best and most fun places to walk your dog! So if you are looking for a

caring, trustworthy, reliable and experienced dog walker you have come to the right place! Using Wildmoor Walkies means you can rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands while you are getting your work done, whether you are working from home or in your workplace! Walking with us will provide a consistent routine for your dog - the Wildmoor Walkies Gang (as we like to call them!) know when we're coming and are frequently patiently waiting for us at the front door! Let us help you with walks providing your furry addition to the family with some stimulation and quality time outdoors in the lovely woods surrounding Crowthorne. **Please note Wildmoor Walkies follows guidance from the Kennel Club and and therefore do not include puppies on our one hour group walks until they are one year of age**

For your peace of mind we are fully insured and are DBS checked (criminal records checked) and hold certificates in pet first aid. At Wildmoor Walkies we do things a little differently. The maximum number of dogs we walk is four to minimise the amount of time they spend in the car on their way to and home from our walks. Walking small groups also allows us to put the dogs on lead quickly and efficiently if necessary and be in control at all times. It is also less intimidating to other people with or without their own dogs who may be out walking in the woods in and around Crowthorne. The majority of the Wildmoor Walkies Gang have been with us for years. We are proud to say we do not have a high turnover of dogs and because of this we know the dogs we walk inside out and back to front! When we introduce new dogs to the Wildmoor Walkies Gang we do so carefully and sensitively so we don’t upset the dynamics of the group walk. You can rest assured we will ensure your dog is put with a group of like-minded dogs who have the same energy levels and sense of fun! Our private Facebook group is updated weekly with photos from our walks and we can also text a pupdate if requested. We really do care for your dog's wellbeing and whilst they are with us we love and treat them as our own. The Wildmoor Walkies Gang are like extended family to us. Your dog will even receive a birthday present and at Christmas we make a donation to a local dog charity on behalf of the Wildmoor Walkies Gang! We are responsible dog walkers and follow the Professional Dogwalkers’ Guidelines published by the Dogs Trust, RSPCA and Pet Industry Federation. We also follow guidance from the Thames Basin Heaths Partnership and Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust when walking in the heathlands and we are conscientious pooper scoopers! Your First Step

If you are interested in our dog walking services, we will arrange a walk in the woods together to see how your dog interacts with the Wildmoor Walkies Gang and you can see if you are happy with the way we conduct ourselves on our walks. During the walk we can discuss your requirements and give you the peace of mind and confidence that your dog will be happy with us before you decide to use our services. Once you have made the decision to go forward, we will email you our Terms & Conditions and ask you to complete our Walking Care Plan which includes questions regarding your dog’s health, behaviour etc. The Next Step

Leave the rest to us! Come rain or shine we will arrive at your door with a smile ready to look after your furry friend when you can't be there for them yourself. Dog Walker in Crowthorne and Little Sandhurst area within a 2 mile radius. CALL MICHELLE ON 07904 460865

What3Words is a good app to have in case of a fire or any other emergency while you are out walking. It gives you 3 unique words which are co ordinates and can be given to fire brigade or other emergency service so they know exactly where to find you or the fire. 🔥

This is Marli from Surrey Fire & Rescue Service! Please join us in thanking her for all the fun we had during Wildfire Awareness Week in the Easter holidays 👏

Marli is Rural Affairs Officer for Surrey Fire & Rescue Service. She’s doing an awesome job of spreading the word about the dangers of wildfire, and helps local land managers by showing them how they can collaborate with the Fire & Rescue Service to prepare for and deal with emergencies 🔥

If you are looking for a physiotherapist for your dog, cat or even rabbit! I can thoroughly recommend Donna at Animal Physiotherapy Ltd. She has been treating my little dog ( he has Hip Dysplasia) for the last two years and he is doing so well thanks to her help and advice.

Unfortunately there are still horrid ticks around I’ve flicked a couple off the doggies this week!
I wanted to share with you what a tic bite can look like if the tic gives you Lyme Disease! Unfortunately unbeknown to my hubby he was bitten by one and developed the “Bullseye” rash which can be an early symptom of Lyme Disease. I had my suspicions and Doc confirmed it and prescribed strong course of antibiotics.
Here is the NHS link for further info https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/lyme-disease/

Long post alert sorry! Today is International Blind Dog Day (thank you to my daughter for telling me!) This little dog amazes us and makes us so proud every day. He was diagnosed with Progressive Retinal Atrophy shortly after we adopted him in 2016 and gradually went totally blind. Unfortunately he later developed toxic cataracts and uncontrollable glaucoma which became very painful for him 🙁. So we made the very hard decision to have his eyes removed to take away his pain.
The thing is he is so clever and all his other senses have kicked in that we sometimes forget he’s blind! He loves to chase the pigeons that fly over the garden teasing him - he hears their wings flapping. I’m proud to be his mumma and guide human 🥰🐾🐾x
