While our pond may occasionally show surface algae blooms during sunny days, rest assured that we take comprehensive measures to ensure the water remains safe and clean for your furry friends. Here's how we do it:

At last we feel like we have turned the corner weather wise & the park is starting to recover🌞. Boy has it been wet!!

Just wanting to remind all our visitors of the importance of following park rules. These aim to ensure everyone has a happy and safe visit! In particular PLEASE make sure of the following:

Be courteous to other visitors
Always leave the car park by the end of your session.
Pick up after your pooches.
Do not enter the car park if the reactive dog sign and A frame are in use & no earlier than 5 mins before the start of your session.
Leave the park clean and tidy.

We are currently installing CCTV which will help everyone to stay safe and enjoy the facility without issue.

🎉🎉EXCITING TIMES🎉🎉 at Dog park!

We reopen tomorrow for a busy weekend (although a few early morning or late evening lots are still available if you are quick!!) following 2 days of updating and maintenance work.

We have:

* expanded the wood area with walk ways, jump hoop and seesaw and hardwood bark
* refilled the digging pit with child safe sand and new toys
* improved the surround of the filtered dog swimming pond
* improved the surround of the ‘large log’, in preparation for some of sensory plants we will be adding around the park (coming soon)
* added a freezer for (£3 per pot). (Ice creams will be coming soon)
* replaced the pond seat and one of the picnic tables (thanks to )
* fully serviced all the pond filter equipment and added additional UV equipment
* fully serviced the coffee machine
* sowed additional grass seed and spring flowers around the park

We will be closing again on Monday (22nd April) to:

* add CCTV covering the car park, field and customer areas
* undertake future drainage work
* improve the car park entrance area
* replace the childs cricket set, football etc
* add some additional dog toys

Finally, with special thanks to Robin Gabriel whose continued support helps us make as brilliant a space for dogs and their humans as we possibly can.

Notification - Improvements and maintenance closure 18/19 and 22 April 2024.

The poor weather has mean’t that we have had to delay some of our planned park improvements. However, we will still be closed on the 18/19/22/23 April to introduce a number of upgrades and undertake general maintenance.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Our all weather surface training and exercise area will not be affected.

Our Naylor Agility tough, non slip tunnel has arrived. We now have a variety of dog agility equipment, if you fancy giving it a try on a 40x22metre all weather surface.

Wet wet wet! That just about covers it at the moment! Fed up with the mud? Here at Paws4Play we can offer a mud free alternative ! Our all weather surface is the perfect place for your doggos to run off some steam! Its 22x40m space has a sand and rubber surface and flood lights for those dark evenings with agility equipment and toys perfect for some training and 🤩. Our all weather surface, for dog training, agility and exercise, has been popular since opening at Christmas 2023.
The size (40metres x 22metres) and the dog friendly surface have helped trainers, dog agility users and those whose dogs just need to take it easy or let off steam! Plenty of on site parking, dog toys, poo bin/bags and lights.

We have a number of improvements planned for 2024. Most will come in the spring and summer months but we hope that they will add more fun and interest for your doggos! 🐾🐾☺️

Available to book from now is our floodlit, 40x22m Paws4play all weather surface training and exercise area. Only 60 metres from Paws4Play dog park and available to all, but particularly ideal for dog training sessions, owners and dogs wanting to have fun on dry ground and those who need gentle exercise.
