🎄 Willow 🎄

Pretty little Cockapoo, Willow, has been in recently for her regular bath and haircut. Since her first visit back in February, Willow has stolen our hearts bringing her fun and sassy personality to every appointment - she certainly knows how to strut her stuff! 💁🏼‍♀️💖

⭐️ Dotty ⭐️

Beautiful Dotty the Bearded Collie paid us a visit last week! With her active lifestyle filled with muddy walks and sandy beach adventures, Dotty knows the importance of a good grooming session - that’s why she has monthly spa days! 🛁🫧

Each of Dotty’s visits includes a deep-cleansing spa bath to ensure her coat is squeaky clean, leave-in conditioning treatment to nourish her coat, and a thorough blow-dry & brush out to keep her coat free of knots and tangles. It’s all about keeping Dotty looking fabulous and feeling great! ❤️🐾

🎄Honey 🎄

Meet Honey, the sweetest little 6 month old Cockapoo who has recently had her first big girl haircut! It’s been a joy watching her grow over the past few months, and after three puppy grooms to help prepare her for this moment she absolutely nailed it! 🎉💇‍♀️

Honey was an absolute dream to groom—so sweet and well-behaved, making my job a total joy (and her little tail wagged the entire time!). I’m so proud of how well this little pup handled her first full groom. Well done Honey! 🥰🐾

🐶 Jasper 🐶

I’ve recently had a visit from Jasper the Cocker Spaniel. Jasper’s appointment included a relaxing spa-bath, blow dry, nail trim, and a fresh haircut. Just look at those adorable puppy dog eyes - how can anyone resist that face? 😍✨

As always, Jasper was an absolute gem during his appointment, showing off his well-behaved nature like a true gentleman. It’s always a pleasure to pamper such a good boy! 💙🐾

🎁 Stanley 🎁

Meet Stanley, the cutest little Christmas pup you’ll ever see! 🥹🐾

This week, I had the joy of giving this adorable 12-week-old Cavapoo his very first grooming session. We started with a gentle bath and blow dry to fluff him up, followed by a little eye trim, paw pad trim, and nail clip. All of it was designed to help him get comfortable with the sights and sounds of the grooming salon, and he absolutely nailed it! 🙌🏼 🎉

I can’t think of a better way to kick off our Christmas posts than with this bundle of joy! Isn’t he just the perfect little holiday companion? With his fluffy coat and those adorable puppy eyes, Stanley is ready to spread some Christmas cheer! 🎄❤️

🎃 Blue 🎃

It's always a pleasure grooming Blue the Cavapoo! Despite a rocky start with his first groomer, Blue now loves his regular visits to the salon and is a paw-some pro at being pampered! 🐶⭐️

Blue’s coat is very thick and high maintenance so we trim his body and legs short, whilst keeping his ears and tail full and fluffy at his owners request. Blue is now ready to spook up some fun this Halloween with his boo-tiful new look! 👻🧡

Meet Bruno, the happiest Halloween hound! 🧡 This Golden-Lab rescue pup has been through a lot with two hip surgeries this year, but you wouldn't know it from that cheeky smile on his face!

After his pamper session including a bath, blow dry, and haircut, he's ready to rock this Halloween in style with a bow tie fit for a dapper dog like him! 🎩🐶

One of last week’s customers was Flat Coat Retriever, Luna. Her beautiful black coat is looking sleek & shiney, and feels extra soft after her pamper session. Luna’s not just a beauty on the outside; her well-behaved sweet nature makes her an absolute pleasure to groom when she visits. 🩶 Shadow 🩶

2 year old Samoyed, Shadow, is a true showstopper! 🌟 This big fluffy boy with his high-maintenance coat gives me a real work out with his groom taking over 3 hours! 😅 But he’s always a true gentleman with impeccable manners during his salon visits. After his bath, de-shed, and trim, Shadow is looking as handsome as ever – tongue out and all! Such a pleasure to pamper this fluffy fella 💙🐾

Yesterday we had a newcomer to Little Bear Dog Grooming; Nova the 1 year old Cockapoo.

Nova and her owners have recently moved to the area, and Nova absolutely rocked her first visit to our grooming salon! 🛁✂️ She may be small, but she has a big personality and she stole all of our hearts with her happy-go-lucky nature 🥰

💚 Duke 💚

On the weekend I was visited by this handsome fella, Duke the 8 month old Basset Hound puppy 🐶

Duke has been coming to see me every month to help him get used to the grooming process. I’m so impressed with how well he handles his grooming sessions, and I couldn't be prouder of how well behaved he is! 🥰 Keep up the good work, Duke! ❤️🐾

🍯 Honey 🍯

12 week old Cockapoo puppy, Honey, came to see me yesterday for her very first puppy groom 🩷 This included a bath & blow dry, nail trim, and a light trim around her eyes to make sure she can see through all of that floofy puppy coat! 😍

I can’t stress just how important it is for puppies to be introduced to the grooming salon in the right way so they don’t become overwhelmed. It’s also equally as important for puppies to be brushed & combed at home on a regular basis - not only does this prevent knots and tangles, it’s also a great way to bond with your new family member! 🥰

I’m always happy to give customers advice and guidance on brushing at home - from the best tools/methods to use, to how often brushing should take place. Your new puppy has a lifetime of grooming ahead of them so, if we work together, we can make sure that they’re set up for success! ⭐️

🧡 Ewok 🧡

Many of you will remember Ewok from my previous posts. This gorgeous little man was rescued by the Nowzad Charity 3 years ago - he was one of 171 dogs and 69 people who Nowzad helped to safely leave Afghanistan and flee the Taliban.

I’m the lucky groomer who gets to pamper Ewok on a regular basis. Although I already know some of the details of Ewok’s story, I’m super excited to find out more in Nowzad’s new book - Operation Ark 📕

(Please note; I wouldn’t usually clip/trim a double coat like Ewok’s this short. However Ewok is a senior dog and has recently been diagnosed with a spine condition meaning it’s uncomfortable/painful for him to be brushed. So for his welfare he is trimmed short to help keep him comfortable and pain free)

🌺 Poppy 🌺

One of this week’s grooms has been pretty little Cockapoo, Poppy. Poppy goes to hydrotherapy on a regular basis to help with a problem with her knees - so her owners wanted a short haircut so that her coat doesn’t get knotty from being in and out of water so much, and to keep her cool and comfortable in the warmer weather. Poppy is always so well behaved when she comes to visit, and is a pleasure to have in the salon! 🩷🐾
