Rather than using traditional steel bar shoes on this weak walled Event horse with slightly sheared heals I decided to use More Aid Elliptical hind glue shoes, as I have had great results with other More Aid products.

I have struggled to keep this flat footed TB ‘s feet under control! At the end of the shoeing cycle, his feet look like a dropped ice cream cone!!!
After a chat with Kelvin Lymer (the shoeing lab) I decided to use More Aid spider glue shoes and 3rd millennium glue (note to self - you can use less glue!) But most importantly I was able to trim the feet without compromise and the horse has never found shoeing as comfortable.
