Continuing the show line coming from Roughlands Jasmine, Warrior has some big shoes to fill to emulate his big sisters success.
Today saw Maisie make her debut in the ring showing this c**t foal who behaved impeccably. The future is looking bright 😎

Kinross Show was one for the young guns.
Kirsty and her foal picking up red tickets . Then blue's in the pair class.
Nat's pups then had an outing with the three musketeers.
Tom got the top spot 🤩👌🏻.
Max also got his hands on the Calcutta Cup.
Great fun day in the wind and sunshine 🌞.

What a Perth show she has had.
Mr Emerson's 6yr old Mare has lifted a quadruple of championships today
Firstly She was In-hand Champion 🏆
Heavy Horse Champion 🏆 🏆
Ridden Clydesdale Champion 🏆 🏆🏆.
Then HOYS Champion Ridden Heavy Horse. 🏆🏆🏆🏆

Natalie has worked wonders with Butterfly so far, as a team we are delighted with them both. Not to mention her owners Harry and Emma absolutely delighted for everyone. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Next adventure here she comes, this mare has had a Phenomenal show record so far and at 6yr old she has had 3 foals and is already a Grandmother.
Team Collessie is Phenomenally proud of her and her achievements.

Thanks to the three J's for their hard work getting the job done.
Now we have roughly 15000 small squares to get home safe and sound . 😰😰😰

Haylage to start the morning.
Horses are going to ❤️ 😍Love 💖 ❣️ this stuff.
So far we have secured 3503 bales of Horse quality haylage. And a few hundred Hay . Theses next few days is when we will hopefully finnish and make roughly 700 more bales of Hay . Conditions have been challenging but we've nearly made it 😎

Hay ground is getting cut down tonight. 🤞🤞🤞the sunshine 🌞 ☀️ 🌞 lands on this side of the hill next week.
This is a bit like going to the casino 🎰 and hoping your number comes up . 😬
We have already secured a phenomenal amount of hay and haylage, but our plan A with this field is for Hay. Needless to say if rain 🌧 comes it will be tucked up into haylage.

One of yesterday jobs was Haylage delivery.
This coming week, we are hopefully to have a lot of hay on wheels filling the sheds for winter.

This is the best day of Pete's sheep year. it's the day he knows which one is which. Mike knows them by their faces all year round.
Mike has been Numbering the Suffolk ewes prior to the breeding season .

🫘 🫘 Beans 🫘 🫘
Not the Kind Jack got but they do look Magic tonight.
One last bit of protection on them to take them through to harvest.
We sell these through the fees store either as whole beans for pigeons or propcorned and rolled and used as a protein source for our livestock mixed. Beans also are fantastic for soils, Fixing Nitrogen and improving soild structure.

To maximise quality, we wrap all our bales in the yard. This ensures the stacked bales are protected from crows and buzzards rather than sitting out in fields. We wrap roughly 300 /day on average with our biggest day just shy of 500. Over the past 19 years Grant has wrapped roughly 66500 bales so you can imagine how good he is at it.
