Achnacarry Rannochs Boy ( Bo)…2 year old c**t MAY be looking for the right 🏡 in the spring.
Again although looks mouse dun this beautiful boy will grey out in the future. A very special,boy to me but I have decided to offer him to the right person to enjoy. However I need to discuss his future with any interested party so once again a pm is welcome. Great big strong boy with bone a plenty and hair will reach 14.1hh easily. Struan of Achnacarry. Two year old c**t will be looking for a new 🏡 in the spring. Struan although looks mouse dun will grey out in time. He is a small Highland pony reaching at the moment around 13.2hh. May be suitable as a deer pony or for a small adult. Loads of bone and hair as most of my ponies have. Hi Mum we just managed to get under the electric fence to give you some exercise!!!
Three fat ladies do NOT need more grass. Eros 27 now does but he has his daily bucket extra. So…… almost 2 hours later the two escapees back with the other two!
Leonie they waited until you had gone home!!! 😁😁🐴🐴😳😳

Home last night after a busy day judging Highland Ponies and Mountain and Moorland at the 125th Lochaber Show held at Inverlochy Castle Farm Torlundy. Fort William.
Lovely well turned out ponies and happy exhibitors makes for a happy judge! Whilst the weather could have been a bit drier it did nothing to dampen anyone’s spirits and it was a great pleasure to judge all the ponies.
Many thanks to all the organisers helpers and Secretary who all contributed to this super show.
Good to catch up with friends.

To follow on from my previous post.
1st message was that Connell Daibhaidh of. Castle Green Dave to his friends…….won the stallion class at the GYS. ( by Echo of. Achnacarry)
Then to follow on MacKenzie of Achnacarry won a huge gelding class . (By Eros of Achnacarry)
THEN. Marcus of Achnacarry MacKenzies wee brother won a huge class of 2 and 3 year old youngstock .
A VERY proud breeder moment.
Eros and Echo are full brothers.
Marcus was Reserve Champion to Catherine Taylor’s mare…Perburn Annabella .
Marcus was Champion in 2022 as a yearling ……so continuing his winning line.
Massive congratulations to all winners of Achnacarry ponies.

EMMA HAS NOW DECIDED TO KEEP HIM. 👏👏👏
Advertising Sergeant Major of Achnacarry for his present owner Emma McClean who due to other commitments feels he is wasted with her and it’s time to move on to someone who will continue his education
He is 5 years old Will be 6 in September. He was professionally backed by Guy Robertson and was a demo horse for one of his clinics. He has done obstacle clinic. Loads and travels in a trailer well.
Schooling is basic but good, trots over poles. Had done in hand agility/ trec training. Hacks out alone or in company.
He just needs more miles on the clock Emma says.
He is 14.2hh.
