This morning felt extra special with the early morning dew, misty sky and a crisp air, autumn is just around the corner and we’re so ready to get that cosy log burner on and make the Hotel all snug! 🍁🤗

🌿 ENRICHMENT! 🌿
We take enrichment very seriously here at The Cwtch, and it’s a big part of our guests daily routine! 👃🏻🐾
After the morning walks and zoomies are out of the way then the pups enjoy some fun sensory games! 🤩
Some enrichment favourites include Sensory garden sniffs, snuffle mats, ‘find it’ games and stimulating puzzles 🪴🫧
Enrichment activities are a great way to release energy whilst building confidence, learning new skills and encouraging calmer behaviours 🐕
The end result? Some very happy, content and snoozy pups, just in time for a chilled movie afternoon in our dog friendly lounge! 💤💛

After a busy day, all ours guests enjoy a relaxing evening ahead of their bedtime. Movie nights, smooth radio and calming diffusers create a peaceful environment for our guests to wind down after a busy day, ready for more fun tomorrow! 🧘🏽♀️🐕

As many of you know, our Dog Hotel has been a labour of love over the last 12 months, as we’ve built it from the ground up with your precious pups in mind with every decision made. Over 8 years ago we had the dream of creating the facilities that we have now and tomorrow we can finally see our complete vision come to life! 🥹🌳🏡
A BIG thank you to our Park customers who have supported us along the way, putting up with the continuous construction site, builders coming and going and us having the odd moan about all of the set backs 😜 We appreciate your continuous support! ♥️

Before we all welcome in 2024, we just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to our Cwtch community for such an amazing year! 🐶
We’ve had a year full of pawties, play dates, breed meet up’s, fun competitions, new faces, familiar faces and a whole lot of happy Cwtch pups! 🤩
We’ve also made new friends, adopted two pups, received over 450 5* reviews and managed to pick up a few awards along the way! Thank you so much for all of your support! 🫶
Although it’s been a dream seeing our vision slowly coming to life, it’s been tough moving forward without Hathaway by our side and we miss him everyday! 🕊️🩵
We’re so excited for 2024, the year we open our Luxury Dog Hotel, continue running our two secure Dog Parks and hopefully continue to welcome more amazing pups and pawrents into the Cwtch community! 🏡✨

🐶 CASSIE’S STORY 🐶
Everyone meet Cwtch Pup Cassie and her brothers Cooper & Bertie! 🐾
Cooper & Bertie have been very regular visitors of the Cwtch since we opened and we’ve loved getting to know them and their wonderful pawrents on their weekly visits. ♥️
The Cox family fostered Cassie in December last year and quickly realised she belonged with them for forever, so before long she became a fully fledged member of the family, there to stay for good! 🤩
Cassie suffers from epilepsy and has for a long time, found the outdoors a very scary place to be! However, Cooper & Bertie have done a great job at showing her the ropes in the park, introducing her to the wonderful smells, games and obstacles that now, aren’t that scary at all! Her favourite thing to do is to run free and play with her big brothers 🐕🦴
The Cwtch has provided a safe and secure place to settle Cassie into her new life, offering a neutral meet up point where she can play, explore and bond with her new brothers! 🐶
“The Cwtch hasn’t only benefited our dogs lives but mine and my husbands to, in difficult times it has become our sanctuary that gives us that break that is sometimes so needed. A place to switch off and focus in the moment, it’s been great for our well-being”. 🧘🏽♀️🌳
We are delighted that our secure parks have been able to offer these pups and their pawrents a fun, safe and stimulating place to bond as a family! We’ve loved seeing all 3 pups grow in confidence with each visit, learning that the world can be a fun and loving place for all of them! 🥰🫶
Thankfully, changes to Cassie’s lifestyle has meant that her seizures have now reduced dramatically and her confidence is going from strength to strength, go Cass! 🥳
