Bailey was so excited to see me today she was bouncing . She gave me all the kisses and we had lots of cwtches .
It was absolutely freezing up the mountain this afternoon. So much so I tried to keep my hands in my pockets . It hailed and started to sleet . We definitely didn’t time that right 🥶🥶
Nevertheless we had a fantastic time 🥶❄️🥰

For Boris’ walk we headed to the woods . He reluctantly ran through the stream but had the best wet zoomies running around the woods trying to dry himself off .
He was a super good boy and had lots of off lead time . I did pop him back on to go across the top of the river edge for safety.
We had lots of fun eventhough it was very cold 🥶

The squad on their 2 hour adventure

We started our day with Callie , Boris , Loki and Skylar .
It was icy and cold but that wasn’t going to stop our fun .
Boris was a bit reluctant at first as he didn’t want to leave the warmth of his home but as soon as we got to our location he couldn’t wait to join in . He was super excited for a treat or two . He kept up with the others abd had some playtime. He hasn’t quite mastered iced over puddles yet but he is getting there . All the others stepped in and as it broke moved to the grass. Boris kept going and looked at me for help . He did this a further 2 times before following the others on the grass 🤣
The ground was icy in parts so we took another route which was super soggy and slippery but I found an old fishing pole someone had dumped in the ferns. I’m saved I thought but Boris has other ideas . He wanted to play with the stick and try and wrestle it away 😱🤣
Loki was super energised today . He couldn’t wait to start playing . He does love Skylar a LOT and with his hormones kicking in he got a little excited at times so he was kept on a trailing lead for times where he needed 5 mins . Skylar and Loki played as they always do . Loki played with Callie a little bit but Callie prefers a quick play and a sniff so he went back to play with Sky. They ran around and explored together having lots of fun . Loki lives the iced puddles so loved breaking them and playing . He loves a treat but he is finding it tricky to sit and wait his turn , who can blame him , I have some good treats 🤣 he had a blast and burnt lots of energy .
Callie was super excited to go on her first walk back after the holidays. She ran around and was so well behaved . She played with Sky , Boris and Loki but Callie loves a sniff and explore . She kept an eye on my treat pocket and spun every time I touched it . She had lots of fun and loved being out with her friends .
Skylar just loves being out with all her friends and is having an absolute blast now we are back to work .

Aw he is a handsome little guy .
Boris was super excited to go for his walkies today. He barked and jumped up excited to see me after the Christmas break . We headed for the woods . He has his super listening ears on today so had lots of fun off lead . He jumped over branches and sniffed some amazing sniffs . He had a few zoomie moments running around the field and just had the best time.
What a good boy Boris 🥰

We started the day with our forever friends Dodie , Belle and Skylar . They had lots of fun together across the mountain.
We started off as a trio but bumped into Liz & Lily’s Dog Walking and Pet Services and her fantastic crew . The girls spent some time playing with Liz’s dogs and burnt off lots of energy runninf around the mountain.
It was time for Liz to go so we headed off on our own trail where the girls found a ball . They all wanted to play with it and had lots of fun .
It started off beautiful but very cold . I bent down to attach all the leads and when I looked up I was surrounded by snow . All 3 looked at me as if to say lets go home 🤣
They were all very well behaved and were superstars ⭐️

Morning Everyone

Who has been out to enjoy the snow ?

Invoices are going out today for the week . If you haven’t booked in please do asap.

❄️ We are looking at an ever changing forecast but if I can get to you and its safe to travel we will be walking in the snow.

Please ensure contact numbers are up to date so if I cannot get to you because of heavy falling snow you can make alternate arrangements .

Fingers crossed the rest of the week will be rain or just a slight covering so we can all have fun safely in the snow ❄️❄️

We’re BACK
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year .
We started back with Loki and Sky on their 2 hour mountain adventure. I had hoped the ice had thawed a bit but no, it was an ice rink . The climb up was a bit dodgy and we won’t talk about the climb back down 🙈 😂
Loki and Sky were super excited to see eachother . They both played together and explored together . Both were super well behaved and even though it was busy they had super listening ears on .
I do have some videos of today but because of the ice the photos are scarce.
Skylar is now zonked out and snoring and I am
sure Loki is enjoying a well deserved rest too .

Don’t forget to book in next week 🐾

It’s out last working day before Christmas 🎅🏼

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your cards , gifts , vouchers and the tips in the bank this morning but the most cherished gift is your trust in me to look after your furbabies . I adore each and everyone and we have the best time . I appreciate each and everyone of you.

I want to wish you all A Merry Christmas 2024 .
We will be closed now for 2 weeks whilst Skylar and myself take a break to spend time with the rest of the family.
We will miss you all but we know you have all been very good and Santa Paws will be treating all the pups and kitties as they are all on the good list .

I have made a year recap so look out for that just after Christmas.
There are some fantastic clips of the pups over the year so don’t miss that 🐾🐾

Boris’ Tuesday walk

Battery was still low for this walk so I switched to videos ( video uploaded yesterday )

He enjoyed a lovely walk around the field ans through the woods . He chose not to go through the stream yesterday so we didn’t venture as far as yesterday.He was a super good boy and had lots of fun

Cooper & Sky

My phone was only on 10% on this walk so I took more videos than photos . Video is on tiktok and yesterday’s post .
Sky and Cooper ran around playing together and burnt off some of that puppy power .
Skylar can still outrun him at the moment but he is getting faster .
We ended the walk with a little bit of training. Cooper enjoys learning and reinforcing nee tricks that he has learnt.
