🏋️‍♀️ Pushing Hard 💪

One of the biggest mistakes in dog training is pushing too hard too fast… however the same can be said for moving too slow too often… a sensible informed blend is the true recipe for success!

I absolutely love how Hugo’s folks trust the challenges I set and embrace the pushing… even if they question my sanity sometimes 😂

However this boy continues to progress and has embraced sitting outside of coffee shop and today navigated a busy retail park and even had a little visit to a pet shop!

It would be easy to avoid this… it would be easy to force him into until he’s overwhelmed and give you the false impression he’s calm … no that’s not what we do … we challenge push and learn!

Way to go team Hugo! 🥳

Ruth and I have a great day at DogX! A brilliant 1 day conference hosted by the amazing PACT!

Lots to digest and reflect on and always great catching up with some friends too!

A very real challange for all small businesses in this world at the moment. The folks at Hollys do some wonderful foods and rewards for your dogs so why not head down and check them out!

🚨 Use Us Or Lose Us 🚨

A post no business ever wishes to write but unfortunately being self employed means that money is always on the forefront of your mind.
It has become apparent to me that the last few weeks have taken a massive dip in sales and this week has just been one of my worst on record in a long time 😔

I understand we had a few weeks of being closed extra days whilst I was in Scotland caring for my Mum who sadly passed away just weeks after her cancer diagnosis.

But I am now back trying to figure out the future of my little shop 🥺 I have decided that we will operate until the end of December and then make a decision on whether we stay or close our doors for good. Please keep everything crossed 🤞for us.

BUT right now folks we are very much back open 6 days a week 10am until 4pm and we are getting ready for the festive period with stock already arriving (we just need to get it out onto the shelves).

Thank you so much for those of you who still continue to support us. It really is appreciated from the bottom of my heart 💕
