We have one grass livery space for a 13-15 hand gelding with no back shoes on to live out with our 4 year old 15 hand dales gelding. He has a field behind our bungalow with hard standing and shelter. Our Dales will leave the field for exercise so the grass livery needs to be able to be on its own for up to an hour 4-5 times a week. There will be times when grazing will not be restricted so not suitable for a laminitis prone pony. Currently full use of the yards facilities outdoor, hacking and indoor. This may change in the long term future to just use of the indoor.

There is one space left for Claire Dryden’s unmounted Franklin balls workshop at Sadberge Village Hall. I didn’t have a clue what Franklin balls were until Claire showed me so I have put some info below. I will put the link to book in the comments if anyone else wants to book. It is £18 per person. I will bring cake.

There is a couple of spaces left on Claire Dryden’s Franklin Balls session (unmounted) at Sadberge Village Hall on the Sunday 9th of March at 1.30pm. It is £18 a person and there will be cake. It all about finding out about some straight forward activities you can do off your horse to directly impact your riding. You get access to videos with the exercises on to help when to get back home. Claire does runs rider fit sessions, equipilates and teaches in the area so if you want to continue after the session there are lots of options.

I have found the equipilates exercises and lessons with my horse a real game changer and we have made clear progress. It really wholesome approach which can benefit you in so many different ways. Jenny Hill

We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! The farm ride route is changing this year as we no longer have use of some of the fields we previously used. It will be 4 miles in length and can be shortened if wished. We will be closed until we put out the arrows for the new route. When we have an opening date , we will post on here. Many thanks for your support!
