Hi folks, Just a quick post to remind you our behaviour service is open. My approach is holistic taking an in-depth look at a dog as an individual as well as the relationship between owner and dog.
I continue to work at Level 4, a Diploma in Canine Behaviour with The British College of Canine Studies. Nearly finished just 3 modules to complete 😊. For further information on my services , please contact me or private message.

Paddy & Me.

Super proud of this pony! We have been together nearly 12 months. He was so out of condition and his spirits broken , I felt he had given up on life. But... here we are lots of love, care and trust... to our first show today.

You Learn:Puppy Learns
A 3 session course 1:1 hour session to help you understand your puppy, his needs and enhancing his learning. The first 16 weeks of life will help determine the adult they become.
The sessions are taken determined by your puppy’s learning and the time you have to work with your puppy.
My consultation fee of £30 a session includes follow up phone calls for support and encouragement.
Your puppy will grow quickly to the dog that shares your life for potentially the next 15 years .

Paddy loving life again, I actually cried all the way home . I was so happy for this wonderful, gorgeous pony. He was coming alive again, interested in living and showing emotion. 💕

Paddy & Me....
His road to recovery....
Winter was really setting in , freezing cold days and lashing rain. For me, winter started at the beginning of October. Paddy was on box rest until the following spring. This was the start of a long battle with mud fever and thrush; four legs and four hooves all infected.

With the help of yard staff, all of his beautiful feathers had to be taken off. It was necessary to target the bacteria on his skin. Sedation was required which was given orally . The care of his feet and hooves were a daily task. Helping his feet and hooves dry was a struggle. Mud fever cream was applied daily for 10days, followed by further treatment , again for 10 days. I took advice from our vet, using copper sulphate mixed in Vasaline and applied daily to his hooves. After months of hard work and freezing cold hands , we turned a corner.
His mud fever began to dry and I was seeing improvement in his hooves. Treatments were working!!!
Sitting writing this post, Paddy has been out in the field with the boys, settling well into the herd . During winter he was allowed out once into a small paddock to stretch his legs and this happened!!
Never give up on your pony , if there is a way through. I remain vigilant every day, still doing daily hoof care and using treatment if there is a hint of infection returning.

Mobile Cattery Services

Heads n Tails is a small family run business who provide care to cats when owners are away, this can be for a weekend, a night or a family holiday. We understand some cats become stressed in catteries, therefore we provide a home visiting service to care for your cat. We cater for multi cat housholds which may make life a little easier for you when planning a holiday. We include in our daily visits collection of post, and watering of plants. We also offer to provide bread and milk on your return so a piece of toast and a cuppa is readily available. Our prices start at £9 per day.

We can make daily visits to provide care to kittens or elderly cats who may need medications. Our current website is in the process of being updated to reflect our services. We hope to add extra services throughout 2019. Please get in touch for further information. Please look out for future posts on cat care.
