Who saw Truffles, Rosa and Wilma's 5 minutes of fame on BBC news this evening?! Well done Govind, pretty good in front of a camera isn't he 🀩! Thank you for asking to do your interview at Arrow so that we can show off what we do to others and how amazing RDA is πŸ’™. Rosa did make us laugh, yawning every time Val spoke...think Val might have a complex now πŸ˜‚. For those watching who know about para - we did tell the reporter repeatedly that Govind has been accepted onto the BEF Para Equestrian Entry programme, not the Para Pathway (a little NB to clear up any queries πŸ˜‰).

Today we welcomed Frank and his wife for Tea With a Pony. Frank had a great time watching Gracie lunge Wilma over poles and even got to see how high Wilma could jump whilst enjoying a nice cup of tea and some cake. Frank then enjoyed meeting Wilma and giving her a good groom. It was lovely to have Frank visit us and we hope to see him again soon!

A win for Rosa and Natalie with 71.96% in Intro B at this mornings dressage πŸ†πŸ‘πŸ». Thank you to Heather Jones Dressage for helping with Rosa's training...fingers crossed she can make it with her riders to the RDA National Championships next year! Keep your eyes πŸ‘€ open next week as Rosa and some of our other ponies may be making an appearance on BBC news!

Another day, another Rosa post!
Rosa started her dressage journey yesterday and took part in her first walk and trot test with Natalie. She was so well behaved in both the warm up arena and test. I'm not sure her riders will believe me when I say she wasn't nosey once πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ». Rosa came 2nd, what a good girl πŸ’™

A huge thank you to Tony Clark and Walsingham Masonic Lodge in Wilmington for a fantastic donation of Β£200 which they raised during their recent raffle. This donation is so much appreciated by all at Arrow - especially Mia as she looks like she's trying to eat the cheque πŸ˜‚. We are a fully self-funded registered charity and rely on kind donations no matter how big or small to keep our amazing centre running and our lovely ponies happy and healthy so they can continue with the brilliant work they do for our riders. Thank you so much Walsingham Masonic Lodge πŸ‘πŸ»

Rosa was a superstar at her first stay away show and what a big atmosphere it was with hundreds and hundreds of horse boxes, tents, flags, horses and people everywhere but she took everything in her stride and wasn't phased by anything (although she was a bit shocked that some of the show ground was muddy πŸ˜‚). Rosa was so well behaved with all the waiting around (and there was a lot!) and Lydia done a fab job showing her to be placed 7th in a huge class of 17 with the top 6 being very nice show ponies! We think Rosa is going to have a very exciting future and we are enjoying training her - she definitely makes us laugh a lot (as I'm sure her riders can tell you!). Now to start her dressage career. Well done Lydia and Rosa πŸ’™

Meet Aisha from Arrow RDA in Kent ⭐

Aisha started riding with RDA originally for the therapeutic benefits for her Cerebal Palsy. Despite not coming from a horsey background, Aisha has fallen in love with riding and for the first time, attended this year's RDA National Championships.

Aisha wants to take her riding further and has now been classified to continue her Para Dressage jouney.

What a fantastic day we have had for our Combined Challenge competition! All riders done a fab job and we are all very proud of you! A huge huge huuuggggggeeeeee thank you to our army of volunteers who all pulled together to make it run so smoothly - Pat, Marilyn, Diane.S, Val, Diane.J, Sue.C, Gwen, Mandy, Donna and Anne - including those that aren't technically volunteers but still gave up their time to help - Lol, Nicci, Meighan, Hannah, Linda, Geraldine, Zara and Rebecca. Our staff were amazing - Maxine and Starr on the yard, Lydia, Nat and Gracie for helping on her day off. Massive thank you to Heather Jones Dressage for judging the dressage for us and to Diane.J for judging the Countryside Challenge - you both were fab! And of course, the biggest thank you must go to our superstar ponies who looked after our riders and are just brilliant πŸŒŸπŸ’™πŸŒŸ
