We like to think that here at MJL horses are given a second chance. It’s daunting for any animal to change hands, and move homes. The horses tend to settle well here. We establish a routine that works for both the staff and the horses based on each horse as an individual.

We take them through our assessment processes, allow them time to show their personalities, and allow them to show us their strengths and weaknesses. We try our best to find each horse the best home, that will suit them, and their new owners needs.

It’s impossible to get it right 100% of the time, but we are happy to spend the time with each person who comes to our stables until they are confident about their decision.

Every horse has the ability to be perfect for someone. It’s all about finding the best connection, and the best choice for each person. Don’t rush it. If it doesn’t feel right it probably isn’t. But if it does, it could be the start of something truly wonderful ✨🦄

We thank each and every one of you for considering our horses. We do our best to achieve the most positive outcome possible for all parties, including the horses. Because they have opinions too 🫶🏼
