When I'm with Reggie we play lots of games, like 'find it' , 'tug of war' and 'ball'.

Pet sitting isn't just about being with an animal, but it's also about keeping them engaged and stimulated.

Reggie loves to tuck into his bone too. It's a reward after finding all the hidden toys.

Playing 'tug of war' keeps us both fit, as does chase in the garden 🪏. It's lots of fun 😊.

Pet sitting is literally saving my life after a year and a half of cancer treatment.

Being with animals is helping to build my physical strength and my confidence in communicating again with people.

Out on walks we always chat to other dog owners and it's so comforting to exchange stories. Some of which are funny 🤣.

But most of all the animals give unconditional love. They love cuddles and I do too. We actually help one another.

I feel blessed to be spending my time with animals, from dogs, to cats, and even horses!

Alongside the 2 horses, I'm also looking after Didget, a 13 year old Springer. She's a darling.

Didget follows me out into the yard and loves to hang out while I muck out the horses or tend to their feed. She's lovely company.

She sleeps on my bed and is so, so soft to cuddle 🤗. I love her calming effect.

For the very first time, I'm looking after 2 horses! Bodmin is a Shetland and Mayday a dressage horse 🐴.

I've been training for the past month in horse care, like mucking out, putting on a head collar, choosing the correct coat and how to put it on, as well as how to safely tie up the net bags and the horses.

It's a great new challenge and is certainly keeping me fit!

I've also got the joy of caring for Digit, the sweet Springer. He's a cuddle addict.

I'm horse and dog sitting! I've spent the past few weeks learning basic horse care.... putting on the halter, coat, fly mask and how to muck out the stables.

I'm really enjoying learning something new and it's building my confidence with horses.

Bodmin is a moorland pony and Mayday is a dressage horse 🐴. They're incredible animals.

I adore this little man, Jackson. I'm blessed to look after him regularly. He makes me giggle and is the most cuddly dog I've ever met!

After having recently finished cancer treatment, my pet sitting lifts my spirits and reminds me of the joys in life. I get to go on amazing walks and to do gentle exercise which is exactly what I need.

Thank you to all those beautiful pets that you get to care for. I feel blessed 😇.
