**jumping on the band wagon, as never a truer word**

They are never just RIDING SCHOOL PONIES❤️🐴

One day you may move onto bigger, fancier horses, but never forget the school horse who made you, as without them, you wouldn’t be able to ride anything at all.

The patient soul that tolerated your bouncing while you figured out how to sit the trot.

The kind mare that didn’t walk off when you stumbled up the mounting block, trying to get your foot in the stirrup.

The sweet gelding that picked up the trot even though your body was telling him to do the exact opposite.

The saintly angel that never spooked, which was a dam good thing because your balance was precarious at best.

Too often we forget where we came from. We move on to the next chapter in our lives and say, “Oh my gosh, I’m learning so much! I’m going so far! I could never do this kind of thing on that old school horse!”

But infact you could, you were just not ready to do all these things back then.

But that school horse gave you the confidence to move forward. That school horse took care of you in all respects and allowed you to take the time you needed to find your way. You couldn’t have become the rider you are today without that riding school horse, always remember to love them unconditionally for our riding school horses are what help start your dream, make dreams come true and get you ready for those bigger dreams 🐴

We have a regular visitor to our indoor arena of an evening, so hoping these owl boxes will make them feel a bit more at home. A little owl box inside and a Tawney owl box on the outside. We will keep you posted. 🦉 🦉 ❤️

A bitter sweet day for us today. Our much loved old man George went into retirement today. Sad for us as he has been a massive credit to the riding school, he has been with us for nearly 20 years and has taught many many, many riders, of all ages, how to ride. I'm sure lots of you will have a tale to tell of our George as he always had a cheeky streak, even into his old age. On the flip side a very happy day for George as his retirement is very well deserved and he will be pampered and want for nothing. 🐎♥️ He hasn't gone too far away and we will have regular up dates for his fan club. 🥰.

We shall close for the horses and ponies Christmas holidays after the last lesson on Saturday 24th December and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January.

Due to burst water mains, sadly United Utilities have left us and others within the area without water for over 36hrs now. We have never been so grateful for a down pour to top up the empty troughs.
We are also very grateful and want to say a massive massive thank you, for the very kind gesture of one of our customers, Charlotte Thorpe and her husband, owners of Arkham Fitness for bringing us a supply of water to help keep us going. Your kind gesture is very much appreciated by the horses and ourselves. Thank you again 🥰🙂🐎❤️

Clear round day today was a massive success. 🐎🙌🥰.. A huge well done to all the riders who took part from our lead rein beginners, giving it a go, up to our more advanced riders and liveries. Everyone rode amazingly well 😀🐎❤️ and there were smiles all round.
Also I have to say a big big BIG thank you to all those who helped to set up and put away and an even bigger thank you to the gang that ran, ran and ran with our littler riders so they could have a go. Wouldn't be able to run these things without all your help, soooo a big thank you..
