Our had a try of the new waterproof mud coats by Happy Pet and they got a huge thumbs up 👍 (Paddy wasn’t too impressed he had to have his photo taken!)

These coats cover the legs and underneath of the dog as well as their back, and with a double zip it can also accommodate a harness with access for the lead too!

Fantastic for the unpredictable weather as they are lightweight, completely waterproof and so easy to clean!

We are ending January on a high!

As a proud licensed establishment, we welcomed our local council officers in to the building last week for our full licensing inspection. For anyone engaging in live animal sales and dog day care this is a requirement to operate and remain fully insured.

Local councils award a star rating depending on numerous factors, and we always aim for the highest standard of five stars which we have maintained since this system came in to operation in 2019.

We have again been awarded five stars for both the pet shop and dog day care, this means we are highly qualified and hit all the criteria for the higher tier licensing, always our aim.

We are extremely proud to hold this level of licensing and it’s a system we always shout loudly about! Licensing within the animal industry is rarely spoken about and, from experience, we’ve found it is quietly misunderstood.

Shop in confidence with us, we remain at the highest standard we possibly can!

We love a snow day in day care 😍

Over the past three days we’ve had plenty of snow at and we’ve made great use of it! With our outside space it’s been perfect for digging, zoomies, chasing snowballs and catching snowflakes! Although not all of our pack members enjoy the white stuff, most of them happily head outdoors to play! For those who don’t, it’s been a toasty 16 degrees indoors with plenty of space to stay dry and warm!

Here at The Animal Garden, we take a fresh approach to running a Pet Shop. Founded in 2016, we have grown to incorporate a dog groomers and dog day care into our existing services. Just step through our doors and you'll enter a true pet lover's paradise.

We have a wide variety of animals in store and all the food, supplies & treats they need to be happy, healthy pets. We carry top brands of pet food, toys, supplies and much, much more.

Beki is highly qualified in animal studies and her advice is second to none, her passion shows through in everything we do in The Animal Garden.

Our animal boarding service is highly recommended offering all small animals a home away from home whilst in our care, we can also clip nails or trim fur whilst your pets are staying with us.
