The Wednesday pack made good use of the pool today to keep themselves cool! Those who didn’t fancy getting their paws wet stayed indoors in the cool indoor spaces. Our day care really does cater for every extremes of weathers Darwen throws at us!

It’s lovely to make such good use of our outdoor space now the sunshine has finally arrived! ☀️

Introducing Naw Pate in Salmon and Turkey!

Made from 97% salmon or turkey and just 3% tapioca starch (a great calcium supplement and a carbohydrate) they are the perfect natural treat for those hungry pooches out there!

We have trialled these in today and the dogs went crazy for them from the minute they smelt them being chopped up!

🏝️ Pool Day 🏝️

We’re making the most of this sunshine whilst we have it this week!

The Friday pack were straight outside as soon as they arrived this morning to enjoy the pool party, the perfect way to keep cool!

For those members who aren’t quite as keen on the water they’ve chosen to stay indoors in the dry (and very cool!) play areas, quite happy to join in with the dressing up though!

Keep an eye on your dogs in this heat, it may not be the sunniest but those temperatures are creeping up fast and it isn’t the most comfortable of weathers for our four legged friends.

🏝️ Pool Fun 🏝️

Our Monday pack were straight out into the pool this morning as it was being filled up! The perfect way to play when the sun is shining ☀️

It didn’t take much encouragement for our water babies to get in, those who aren’t as keen to get their paws wet were more than happy enjoying the sunshine and retreating indoors where it’s a lovely 19 degrees and breezy.

Betty is our oldest and longest attending dogs in daycare, she’s been coming since we first opened! And now at eight years old she certainly knows how to keep the room under control! She has the nickname ‘the dinner lady’

Despite the bizarre weather we are currently experiencing, our German Shepherd is dropping hair everywhere!

The perfect tool for the job? The Furminator!

In just 10 minutes this pile was stripped from her, making her much more comfortable and our house a little less hairy!

** Pre Orders **

We’ve been reminding most of you this week, on Friday 21st June we will be closing at 6pm for our annual family break and to allow maintenance to be carried out on site. We will reopen on Monday 1st July at 8am.

Please get all pre orders in for live food - next week live food will be on a pre order basis only! Please let us know by 6pm Sunday what live food you will need for the following week. Live food will arrive with us on Tuesday.

Dry dog food is arriving on Tuesday, please let us know if you would like any bags allocating to yourself on its arrival. We have all flavours available in both sizes, please think ahead for those of you that buy weekly

Raw dog food is arriving Wednesday - please let us know if you require certain flavours to be reserved for you. We can only stock what we can physically hold in freezers and due to delivery days we can only get so much! Please let us know what you need and how much, again think ahead to cover the week!

All other lines of stock are full and ready for purchase, we have all treats, deli items, dry stock, lighting and everything in between all ready to go. Please drop us a message if you’d like anything reserving for collection.

We are open all next week as usual including our late night on Thursday until 7pm. We are available all weekend on messenger for pre orders.

Today we have celebrated Lola’s third birthday! We’ve had plenty of cake, sweets and bottom scratches as well as party games and a bit of dress up for the birthday girl.

May seemed to fly by in

We celebrated Lottie and Ledley’s Birthdays with all their besties ❤️

We enjoyed some sunshine and the pool could finally be filled! Only for the weather to break and we go back to dodging rain showers (but we still enjoy the pool rain or shine!)

We’ve had great fun with all our packs recently, working well on all our manners, recall, playing nicely with our toys and enjoying each others company!

As we head in to June and our sixth year of we are as always grateful to all our day care families who continue to choose us to take care of their four legged friends.
