Having a fabulous time with the golden child! I took this still from a video of us cantering yesterday during the western trail clinic we did. We also did a gate obstacle for the first time. He is so quick to learn! Was a really fun session! Proud of our progress!

😂😂😂 to be fair she had just been ridden and washed off! But as soon as I got the camera on she was off! And then I got that! Before she legged it down the paddock!

Cisco appreciation post! This sweet horse has been put on the back burner a few times due to him getting injured in the field or me being unwell or over loaded at work. But things are coming together. He’s been walk and trotting well under saddle for some time, but we had never managed to get him to the point of cantering due to the above! So I’m happy to say we have now managed that! My recent 12 weeks off riding don’t seem to have caused too much wasted time! To say I’m thrilled is an understatement! I feel that finally the stars are aligned for us to move on with our training together. One thing is for sure…. This horse hasn’t been rushed!😂 happy days!!

The new year is traditionally a time for resolutions.

Could legerete be your new years resolve?

The Foundation Course kicks off again on 01-04February 24.

Our usual venue at Naturally light equitation in Preston Capes are preparing once again to bring legerete to our growing UK audience.

If you feel you'd like to join our audience for the Foundation Teacher Training Course you can participate as an auditor (£150 for 4 days with future benefits) or as a spectator (1-3 days at £55/day or £150 for 3 days).

This is a wonderful (and wet) time of year and is an ideal time to learn new ground skills to build a solid foundation to your horses education and it's really fun.

What an amazing 3 days I’ve had! Had the opportunity to take a space on the Philippe Karl's School of Légèreté UK clinic due to people being unable to attend. Had the wonderful Sylvia Stössel, a master PK instructor teaching me, which was a great experience for both me and my horse. Seeing and feeling the progress we made over the 3 days was brilliant! I had some really great moments where the “penny dropped” with our contact! Finally I feel it! My horse had self carriage! It felt amazing! Sylvia is a great teacher and filled in a few gaps that I didn’t quite understand before! I’m beaming! Thank you to everyone who said such kind things and the the PK instructors who gave me this opportunity! A big thank you to Sylvia!
