Baxters provides a friendly, relaxed, professional dog grooming service where the focus is always on the welfare of the dog in our care. We believe in grooming which takes your dog's lifestyle, character and personality into account. We don't take the "one cut suits all approach" so you can rest assured your dog will be treated as the individual they are! Lizz Baxter is professionally trained, fir

st aid qualified, CRB checked & insured. Prices are according to size, breed, coat type & condition. Please note we make an additional charge to deal with matting from £5 - £15 depending on the severity, but this will be discussed in detail with you at the consultation. Please do not feel embarrassed, if your dog is matted or dirty. We understand that sometimes life events get in the way & that grooming your dog doesn't always get the priority it should, for whatever reason.. Please be reassured we are not here to criticise or judge - we simply want you to put your trust in us to transform you dog back to their former glory! Similarly, we are on hand to give advice on how to care for your dog at home. We will suggest the right tools & show you how to groom effectively so you can keep you dog's coat & skin in tip top condition. At baxters we also sell a range of grooming & dog related products. We are committed to the philosophy that dogs don't have a choice, they accept what we give them. Because of this we want them to have the best & only use natural products on your dog while they are with us. These are available for you to purchase along with high quality treats & chews including a wheat, gluten & colourant free range for dogs with allergies. We look forward to hearing from you when we can discuss your dog's particular requirements.

It is with great sadness that we have decided to formally announce our decision to close the doors to BDG. However, as one door closes, another one opens so please watch this space. In the meantime, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to all our wonderful customers who have supported us, the majority of whom have been with us since we started. Usually, at this time of the year I give my customers a Christmas Card & a gift for their dog to thank them for their custom. I hope everyone will be happy with my decision to, instead of continuing with this tradition, donate what I would normally spend to the Lott family. Even though we've been conducting handovers outside & practising social distancing since we came out of the last Lockdown, with the recent news of the Omicron Covid variant we feel it sensible to step up our Covid measures & reintroduce wearing of masks during handovers. This will take effect from Tuesday 30th Nov. Thanks all, Lizz x
