After 2 ultrasonic teeth cleaning sessions, there is a big improvement in the colour of Teddy's gums! 🐶😁🪥

This service is really not about the appearance of the teeth but actually helping to maintain tooth and gum health in order to prevent gum disease, which can lead to bone loss and, therefore, expensive teeth extractions.

Like our own gums, if we don't floss our teeth for a while and then floss them all of a sudden the gums can bleed and feel sore - the more often you floss and of course brush, the less they bleed and the healthier they are.

Inflamed gums are a sign of gingivitis and early stage of periodontal disease. So the more we can brush our dogs' teeth, the better. 😊👍🪥🦷

Daisy had a training session at the salon today for her barking!

I learnt about the subtle differences in her barks and how her cheeky barking for more sausages is also a distraction from the unpredictability of who and when someone is coming through the door.

Started today off with a 1:1 with Lucy from Dinky Doodles Professional Styling based at Any paws dog grooming in Sandwich and her dog Daisy. Daisy goes to work with Lucy but is finding all the noise and busy-ness of a grooming salon stressful - resulting in a lot of barking! We made a plan today on how to help Daisy feel more relaxed in busy environments. I’m really looking forward to hearing how she progresses ❤️🐾.

*Ultrasonic teeth cleaning info:*

Using a Emmipet ultrasonic toothbrush with a specially formulated toothpaste, the soft bristles are held against the teeth & gums allowing the teeth to be cleaned gently without irritation, vibration & noise. The ultrasound reaches right under the gum line to kill bacteria & cleans the gums to prevent the buildup of plaque & tartar. It also increases the blood flow to the gums to help heal wounds & stop bleeding.

Ultrasound cleans more effectively than regular brushing as it destroys bacteria even below the gum line.

Winnie went a little bit shorter today and she looks so sweet! 😍 🐶

This is a great cut for puppies if you want to keep them cute and fluffy whilst making the coat a bit more manageable in between regular grooms. ✂️🐕🐾

Billy was soo good for his first ultrasonic teeth cleaning session which allowed me to remove lots of plaque and tartar! Still a little more to go in another session but glad to see such a big improvement and help prevent gum disease.🦷🪥🐶

Teddy looked so cute after his haircut I just had to take a photo with a bow 😆🎀

I think we've become friends now, and I can't believe he used to be a bit fiesty when I first met him, giving nudges and nips when he wanted off the table. He let's me use the clippers under his chin and neck, under his armpits etc. without a fuss now! 🙌☺️🐰

Wilfred had a big transformation today! It was his first professional groom in quite a while, and he was such a good boy. I love these non-traditional schnauzer cuts ✂️ 😍 🐶

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all of you for being so kind and supportive at this difficult time for me; it really has been made so much easier having so many understanding customers and friends, and of course seeing your lovely pets brightens my day.

My husband passed away 3 weeks ago, and a few of you have asked about flowers and/or donations - I know this cause may be close to some of you too, so wanted to share the fundraiser in Brett's name for The Brain Tumour Charity just in case anyone wanted to add to this. But, your understanding in me changing appointments around is more than enough!

For those of you who have had to miss an appointment or 2 recently, I currently have some slots in June. Please don't get in touch this week as the funeral is tomorrow, but next week I'm sure I will be able to look in my diary and fit some more in 🙏👍 So far no cancellations at the moment, so if you're booked in it will most likely go ahead.

Rabbits are for life, not just for Easter 🐰🐣🥚

3 years ago I dressed up as a rabbit and did a sponsored walk through Sevenoaks to raise money for Bobtails Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue and to also raise awareness of good rabbit care after so many were ending up in rescues after lockdown.

It's Bunsters' birthday today 🥳🐰 and he was treated to his nails done in the comfort of his own home 🏡 💅

His owner has left a lovely review, which shows the benefits of having me come to you for mobile grooming 🚗

He's got a spring in his step now and was happy to let me stroke him after his nail trim as he hopped off for his free roam time around the house 🐇

Lovely little Ruby the frenchie had a spa session at the salon today with a soothing mud pack and Paw Fizz treatment for her itchy feet and skin. 🛁🧼

She enjoyed her massage while we waited for them to work their magic💆‍♀️🪄

As we approach allergy season, dogs can get extra itchy and these are a great couple of add ons to compliment hypoallergenic diets and/or veterinary treatment. Even a simple bath, blowdry, and thorough skin inspection during the grooming process can help wash away allergens and pick up early hidden skin issues early.

You can also ask for the extra sensitive, Scentless Shampoo by which is included in the price of the groom. I'm super picky about shampoos because I have really sensitive hands, so all shampoos used are free of nasties like SLS, parabens etc. 🧴🐶🐾
