A little slip for the two best girls.

You wouldnโ€™t thing Aurora (the ginger) was feral not even 5 months ago and she let us do this. Wow. What a mare. Obviously her neck isnโ€™t finished as she was a bit nervous but thatโ€™s okay. A work in progress.

And Eden smashed it cj side ring the last time we attempted to clip her she had her protest ๐Ÿ˜‚

NEW LIVERY YARD - Stockbury
Livery packages available- Full / Sales / Schooling / Breaking / Retirement / Weaning

I am proud to be able to share that from this month I can offer services from our new location in Stockbury, Kent, ME9 area.

It is a lovely, small, quiet private yard, in the heart of the countryside with quick access to the M2. There is lots of countryside around us to explore for those that love to hack or even if youโ€™re looking for somewhere for your beloved family member to come and live out their days without worry, especially as the owners live onsite.

Whatโ€™s included:
- 12x12 Stables and bedding
- Electric and CCTV
- Feed (supplements not included)
- Hay or haylage ad lib
- Turning in and out
- Feet picked out twice daily
- Mucking out
- Poo picking and field maintenance
- Watering
- Rug changing
- Use of the grass school

With the option of additional services like: holding the horse for appointments, exercising, grooming, tack cleaning etc and whatever you may need.

We will be looking to add more facilities and creature comforts in the coming months but have everything set to give your babies exactly what they need, whenever they need it.

We are only looking for a small number of lovely liveries to join the family so for peace of mind, youโ€™ll be able to enjoy your time without worry.

For one week and one week only we will be offering free assessment trials.

Whether it be. You want a youngster ridden. Or a more quirky horse. Or you want a schooling session. Or even groundwork/behavioural issues on the ground.

For one week we are offering one session for new potential clients and one session per person to showcase what we can do.

Jj doing his wait. Heโ€™s come so far. From being bolshy around feed to patiently waiting. Heโ€™s coming along amazingly.

We teach all of our horses wait so when we feed. Instead of having to argue or fight them about it. Itโ€™s a pleasant experience for both us and the horses where they patiently waiting for us to put the feed down and leave.

What a good boy ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅน

You see it all the time now.

Just like that. As if theyโ€™re not worth the message.
As if they havenโ€™t already given so much to so many riders.
As if they havenโ€™t already shaped the horse world we all benefit from.

Without them, thereโ€™d be no blood, no brilliance, no careful infusion of heart and stamina that built the sport types we all admire.

Not every thoroughbred is straight off the track and ready to Grand Prix.
But the good ones? Theyโ€™re brave. Quick to learn. Often more honest than we deserve.
And some of the best teachers youโ€™ll ever sit on.

So maybe itโ€™s time to stop writing them off and start remembering where so many of our โ€œfancy horsesโ€ actually came from!

Rather a thoroughbred or thoroughbred cross any day than a warmblood cross!

( and I love some warmblood breeds)
