Michie Family (pronounced Mickey), based and now living in Cornwall, were in the past successful dog breeders. With the devotion and love for our dogs we always struggled to source a suitable dog food supplier that would cater for our fussy dogs dietary requirements and needs. After researching the maze and rather confusing world of the internet, we then proceeded to discuss this matter in detail
and great length with other dog breeders, working dog owners and then onto vets and specialist nutritionists. The outcome became so simple and straight forward - go back to the traditional way as dogs were originally fed back in the day! We've developed our own range of working dogs foods that comprise of

As the saying goes "As Fit As A Butchers Dog" very quickly became apparent. Ironic as Mr Michie Senior was a butchers boy from the age of 13. Firstly we noticed a change in their behaviour (For the better we're glad to say) Their energy levels improved. Their sleeping patterns became more consistent. Their breath was now quite pleasant. Their coats seemed glossier and in better condition and their stools dare I say were a lot easier to clear up. Our Story

We want to let you know about a change to our minimum order size for frozen products - it’s now 9 kilos.
This decision hasn’t been an easy one, but with rising courier costs through APC, it’s the only way we can continue to operate as a small family business. To give you an idea, delivering an average box of frozen products costs us £12.00 + VAT, while we charge you just £5.95.
We understand this might not be ideal for those with limited freezer space, and we truly appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we’re here to help!

The Michie family are based in Cornwall. In the past we have been devoted and successful dog breeders. Throughout the breeding programme we were always looking for a complete dog food with a well-researched nutritional value that would cater even better for our puppies, breeding mums and working dogs.
After researching this issue over the years, we then proceeded to discuss this matter in detail and at great length with other dog breeders, working dog owners and vets and specialist nutritionists.
After much carefully considered research and hard work we developed our own range of raw working dog foods and healthy treats that comprise of locally sourced fresh raw meats, vegetables and added vitamins and beneficial supplements.

There is a well know saying "As Fit As A Butchers Dog". This very quickly became apparent with our dogs eating our own artisan meats! This is pretty ironic seeing as Mr Michie Senior was a butcher’s boy from the age of 13!
As the weeks went by the transformation in our dogs became very clear. Firstly, we noticed a positive change in their behaviour, their energy levels improved and their sleeping patterns became more consistent.
As well as the more obvious physical changes their breath was now quite pleasant, their coats glossier and their stools were a lot easier to clear up.
At MICHIE'S we have always wanted the best for our dogs which is why all of our raw dog foods have been designed with expert advice. As a result, we are able to supply you with a perfect balance of ingredients, which will benefit dogs from all walks of life.
