Day 3, part 1

The lovely Briony was in today to help out so a few too many pups got one post!
Part 1 will be full of Aunty Ruth’s wee fluffy clients plus a couple of pre-Christmas piccies!

Look out for little old Benji the Yorkie. Today he let me get a good bit more done than he usually allows! Such a brave and tolerant boy 💙

Day 2 of Christmas piccies! All from today, no space for more of the pre-xmas ones today!

A couple of wee reminders!!

4 new gifting tags are on our wee tree. All gifts this time are for kids between the ages of 4 and 9. Please take a tag if you can and help the wee kids Christmas be a lot better than it could have been without your kindness and generosity. Gifts need to back to the salon by Friday 13th or to Cafe Anton by Saturday, 14th

Our annual fabulously amazing selection boxes are now restocked and available!
All great high protein products with some of our salon favourite wee biccies. Small, medium and large available for £4, £7 and £12.
Also sausage/burger bags at £4 and our wee banger bags at £2

If you have asked to have some put aside, please either contact us for a payment link or pop in to collect by Saturday :-) thank you!!

Well! The time is almost upon us.
Our biggest event of the year, anticipated by our clients almost as much as Christmas itself!!
Yes, starting Tuesday, there’s 3 weeks of Christmas salon piccies!!!

In the last week or two, I’ve been sneakily taking some photos and putting them through our festive generator. I’ll be posting these today and tomorrow to whet your appetite of what’s to come!

Our normal disclosure applies. It’s simply not possible to photograph every dog that attends the salon. Some wee mites are not happy to have a camera pointed at them and we won’t over stress them for the sake of a photo. Also, sometimes, there just isn’t the time.
Please forgive us if your wee one is missed.

Time for our pre-Christmas annual leave!!
One lovely week that coincides with Ruth and her hubby’s, wedding anniversary. Also a great opportunity to get the Bow Wow pooches away from the commotion of the endless barrage of fireworks. Wee Harley in particular is absolutely terrified :-(

On the upside, the long awaited return of the laptop has come at last, so it’s packed and block bookings will get started while we’re off. Many apologies for the delay this year, hopefully we can get it done and dusted before the end of November.

We’re back in the salon on Sunday 10th November!

I stumbled over this brand in a dog friendly coffee shop in Annandale. My boys, Corrie and Harley, loved their treats and I loved the whole look, feel and ethos of the brand so had to have it at Bow Wow!

The display stand arrived today so I got it all set up this evening.

Unfortunately we have no full groom appointments on the run up to Christmas 😢. I’m apologising up front as I know there will be several clients disappointed. We always book around 8 to 10 weeks in advance, so even under normal circumstances, I’d struggle to get anyone else in. I can however let you know who in the area does have appointments.

I will run a small waiting list. No more than 10 names. Please note, being on the waiting list does not guarantee an appointment. Other arrangements should be made to ensure Pooch Perfection before Santa comes.

If you have an appointment, and don’t show for whatever reason, we will require full payment for the missed appointment.
If you know you you won’t make it, please give us 48hrs notice. We may be able to find a swap for you if we have notice.
If you miss or need to cancel your appointment we probably won’t be able to give you another appointment until 2025.

If you have booked a full groom appointment but realise a pre-Christmas bath and tidy is all that’s needed, please let us know so we can move you to a bath n tidy appointment time. This will allow the full groom appointment to be given to someone on the waiting list.
Leaving it to appointment time to reduce your requirement will result in full groom price being charged.

Please stay calm!!
I have already added extra days to accomodate requirements. I think I only have 2 days off between the 1st December and Christmas Eve. Even a groomer needs a day or two to prepare for the big day!

I’m not being awkward or mean if I say I can’t book you in. I will be feeling bad and really really guilty about it already 😞

We’re very lucky, we’re busy through the year. Christmas does add a certain bit of stress though as demand is so high.
Guaranteed, my own two pups will be sitting up on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa Pawz looking like two burst cushions!! 🐾💙🎅🏼💙🐾
