OP-OFF
Punctuality is the politeness of kings." ~ King Louis XVIII. You may drop off your dog early. However, your pet may not get started on till their appointment time. DO NOT BE LATE. I schedule accordingly so grooming is time sensitive. EARLY DROP-OFF
May I will be working on a doggy who can get excited about the doorbell and it can take to calm him/her down again to finish grooming. Please text me when you arrive, so I can finish up a calm dog and be with you the fastest possible way. PICK-UP NOTIFICATION
I will call/text you ~30 mins before your dog is done, to enable you to be here by the time they are going to be done. On-time pick-up is required. LATE PICK-UP FEE
I do not do boarding. I don’t have/use cages. Because of that, I charge the same amount for every starting hour for keeping your dog here after the agreed pick-up time as if I were grooming him/her. In that case, I will need to ask the next client to wait or I have to postpone/reschedule their appointment which I would like to avoid. (5-10 mins window is acceptable, but please don't exploit it.) RESCHEDULING / CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS
Cancellation / No Show Policy
* No shows result in a big loss of income, especially if I am holding a time slot for you. PLEASE be courteous. I will send you a text to remind you of appointments allowing you enough time to cancel if needed. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. No Shows and last minute cancellations will require a fee per pet equivalent to 50% of the service price, to be paid before booking your next appointment AND prepayment for future appt. If you cannot make your appointment let me know ASAP, PLEASE do not wait until the morning of your appointment if at all possible. I will take into consideration emergencies or waive the fee if I'm able to fill that time slot with another client. You may cancel your appointment leaving a message on my voice mail at any time
Hygiene
A full bladder or bowel can be very uncomfortable for a dog whilst it is being groomed. Please ensure that your pet has been toileted before bringing them to the salon, as we do not have toiling facilities onsite. A £10 cleaning fee will be applied to dog’s that frequently toilet in the salon. FLEAS AND TICKS
I do not service pets with fleas. Bringing a pet with fleas puts other dogs in my salon at risk. If the service has already been started and we do find them, fleas and ticks will be removed at the owner's expense. Depending on the severity, we may send your pet home before the service is finished. Flea shampoo is not included in the base groom price, and the removal itself is charged by the hour. IF YOUR PET IS TURNED AWAY AT CHECK IN DUE TO A FLEA INFESTATION, THIS WILL COUNT AS A LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION, AND YOU WILL BE SENT CHARGE FULL CANCELLATION FEE. We are unable to accept dogs which are in season or are pregnant. MATTING AND SHAVING
Pets with matted coats need extra attention and time. Mats in a pet's coat can grow tight, causing damage to the skin underneath, which in turn can cause a variety of skin issues which may include parasite infestation, hot spots, excessive itching, etc. Removing these mats from your pets coat is a time consuming process requiring special tools, products and patience. In the event your pet is too severely matted, he or she will be shaved at the groomers discretion. Removing a heavily matted coat can be painful for your pet and puts them at risk for nicks, cuts, bruising, irritation or abrasions due to warts, moles, or skin folded and trapped within the mats. After removing mats by combing them out or shaving, your pet may experience clipper irritation, and or self-inflicted wounds, irritation or bruising from excessive chewing, licking or scratching. In some cases, the coat may not grow back the same. Preventing matting is key to safe grooming experiences. I am not responsible for any skin injury or irritation caused by matting, or self-infliction after removing it. I am not responsible for hematomas caused by matted ears. Matting fees will be added and applied to the final grooming price. Shaving any pet, even if your pet isn’t matted, can cause clipper irritation. Underlying medical conditions can risk the chance that the coat may not grow back the same, or at all. I do not suggest shaving double coated breeds due to the higher risk of the coat not growing back. I reserve the right to refuse shaving double coated breeds and mixes. I am not responsible for any after effects of shaving. IMAGES / VIDEOS
May I take and share images and or videos for fun and training purposes about mine clients grooming sessions. Please notify me in advance in case you prefer to opt out of this. PRICING VARIANCES
