UPDATE: The ferret has not been claimed so will be going to Marley's ferret rescue and rehoming.

Ferret lost on Great Northern Road, Derby. Today about 5pm. Please contact me if spotted or found.
UPDATE 3: All now home and safe 🥰
UPÐATE 2: I have spoken to the owner. 4 of the 7 babies have been found under a neighbours shed. Hopefully the remaining 3 are still under there and the owner will be able to get them out soon.
UPDATE: Mum has been found by a kind neighbour and taken to a vet. Owner will contact them in the morning.

We got a phone call earlier that we have been nominated for the make a difference awards. We are one of 4 in our category (the animal award) and one of 32 across all categories.
We are so proud to say our little rescue that started in my parents backgarden has now grown into this huge help for ferrets in the east midlands/across the country.
Im so proud of everyone on board (the team and volunteers) and all of you guys for supporting us. I cant believe we've been recognised for all the hard work we do.
We will be attending an awards ceremony in September where the winner will be announced.

I'm going to be a 1 year old this year
I had 2 sister's but they disappeared one day whilst working for our human master.
After this I became scared on my own I would jump & bite any hand that touched me for this I was put into a very small cage and put into a cupboard, I spent 2 months in this dark cupboard, I was given some food from time to time & sometimes cleaned
I was sold on a selling site, put in a very dark box & moved
The box opened, im in a room with 3 humans shrieking & laughing at my excitement & silly dancing! I start getting over excited but also very scared, climbing in & out of the humans jumpers I bite someone out of fear everyone screams & I'm put back in a dark box
12 hours later the box opened again 2 hands took me [I felt warmth] the lady spoke quietly & soothing she smothered me with kisses & cuddles & gave me the most delicious soup
The lady had some others like me we made friends, we ate, we played & we cuddled together, we feel safe

Owner found and ferret returned home - Microchip has also been updated 🥰
Ferret found ng93hf. She is microchipped but no owner details. We will be contacting the chip company in the morning.
