Following on from our previous post about the dates we are fully booked, we can highly recommend Fur Your Convenience Pet Care

Catteries also don't suit every cat, and this is a fabulous option for you if you'd prefer to keep your kitty in the comfort of their own home.

We re-open following our annual maintenance shut down on Wednesday 5th February.

Daily viewings of the cattery are available between 10am and 12 noon with no appointment required.

Drop off and collection is also between 10am and 12 noon until the spring when we will return to our additional afternoon drop off/collection (except Wednesday pm).

On Saturday 15th March I will be jumping from a plane at 14000ft (hopefully attached to someone who knows what they're doing and has a parachute) and I will be raising money for Treetops Hospice.

A lot of you will know that Treetops were a wonderful source of support for us as a family when my beautiful mum was diagnosed with cancer and then dementia.

We lost mum in September 2022 and it has taken me until now to pluck up the courage to do this for her, and to support lots of other families who rely on the support and care available from Treetops Hospice.

Many of you know that I re-opened the cattery with dad in memory of mum, the last thing we could do to make her proud.

Well, then I thought I could do something else, something that fits my personality!!

I know lots of you will think I'm mad and there's easier ways of supporting the charity, but for me it's about doing something out of my comfort zone too. I'm an awful passenger in the car, so I can only guess what I will be like diving head first from a plane, BUT, I will do this, I will do it for mum and for Treetops to help them continue the amazing work they do.

I actually saved the link to this on 15th December and it's taken a month or so to find the courage to sign up, but today I've signed up!!

Here's where you lovely lot come in..... I've set myself a target of £500 to raise for Treetops, the smallest sponsorship of just £1 will help me to meet that target and if any of you have any spare change down the back of the sofa etc, I'll gladly accept it!!

You all know I'm mad as a box of frogs - this proves it!!

Thank you for reading if you got this far - this charity really does deserve every penny raised and I sincerely hope as few of you as possible need their services and support in the future.

Springfield Cattery will close for annual maintenance and a well-earned break on 18th January and re-open on 1st February.

For any bookings required during these dates, please consider Conifer Kennels and Cattery - personal recommendation from me and it's where my cats stay when we go away (or when I forget to book a space for them at Springfield!!)

Please note we are now onto our Autumn/Winter opening hours from 10am - 12 noon daily.

There is no PM drop off or collection available (unless by prior arrangement).

We will revert to our afternoon opening in March 2025.
