Happy International Cat Day!!!
Pic one is Bacon who arrived with us around Christmas time, a scrap of a thing who shouldn't really have left her mum and was no more than 5 weeks old. We've nursed her, fed her, loved her and she's now probably as big as she's going to get and totally rules the roost.
Pic 2 is Salem, he adopted us during lockdown and true to do he's out exploring so I can't get an actual pic of him! Look at where he's been though!! Yes I have a tracker on him 😂

Yep, so many of our guests arrive totally fed up because they were duped into the box!!🙈😂😂
Please note from Wednesday 19th June we will no longer be open for drop off/collection on Wednesday afternoons, any drop off or collection on Wednesday must take place between 10am and 12 noon.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

D-Day 80.
VACCINATION CARDS
We cannot board your cat without seeing proof of vaccination status. Please do not arrive without your cat's vaccination card as you will be turned away - this is a condition of our license.
You can ask your vet to email details of the most recent vaccination to [email protected] - I will happily print off for their file.
As we approach one of our busiest weekends of the year, we will not have time to call your vets to ascertain vaccination status - this is owner responsibility to provide and we will turn you away without boarding your cat if it is not available.
If you are worried about your cat's vaccination status, please call your vet - we are aware there is a shortage on vaccines currently and some vets are operating waiting lists on a first come first served basis. If your cat goes over the three month grace period for booster vaccines, they will require a full course of vaccinations which takes 3-4 weeks to complete.
Thanks, Team Springfield
We are now fully booked from:
24th May - 2nd June
8th-17th June
21st - 24th June
28th June - 1st September
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are also booking up very quickly for October Half Term and Christmas/New Year 2024
Please can we ask everyone to take note of our terms and conditions of booking which can be found here: https://www.springfield-cattery.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/
Specifically we refer to clause 11 for cancellation of bookings and ask for one months notice to cancel a booking during peak season and 48 hours at all other times. If you cancel your booking within one month of the start date during peak season, you are still liable for the full boarding fee.
We do not want to have to start taking non-refundable deposits, but unfortunately this is what we will have to do if we continue to receive late cancellations.
To all of those who keep us updated with changes to dates etc, thank you!
Springfield Management
Poppy and her fresh roast chicken/cat yoghurt combo!
Just a gentle reminder as we head towards one of the busiest weeks of our year - please remember to being your vaccination cards for your cats. We need to keep these on file and we cannot board your cat without it.
Unfortunately, as we are so busy and there are so many days of holidays, we won't have time to call the vets and ascertain vaccination history - you must bring it with you or you will be turned away.
You wouldn't travel to the airport without your passport and expect to fly - your cats vaccination card is their boarding pass.
Thanks - Team Springfield.

We will then close from 7th to 31st January for annual maintenance.
We do not operate a waiting list for cancellations as availability cannot be guaranteed.
Thank you to everyone who has booked in early this year, it is appreciated.
Don't forget we need to see vaccination cards at every visit - I'm happy to take a copy annually for your file, but we cannot board any cats without evidence of vaccination.
Unfortunately we're having to share the same information again regarding vaccinations.
WE DO NOT TAKE UNVACCINATED CATS OUR INSURANCE AND TERMS OF LICENCE DO NOT ALLOW THIS.
We cannot stress how important it is for you to bring your vaccination cards with you.
If you can't find them, you must ask your vet for a print out, they will be able to provide this.
No vaccination card = no accommodation for your cat while you're away.
The vaccinations must be completed with 2 jabs for a first course and an annual booster within 12 months to keep the vaccination status current.
There are no exceptions.
Sorry if this offends, but we must abide by our license conditions for the safety of your cat and every other cat staying with us.
Your vet will give you the same advice as above, they will not tell you different - one vaccination is not sufficient on a new vaccine course.
Your cats vaccinations are your responsibility.
We issue this advice with every booking we take and we advise we need to see the certificate upon entry to the cattery.
Diary is open for 2024 - we're already looking busy over Easter and through August.😳
Call/Text 07738 435034 or email [email protected] for bookings.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our customers over the last 9 months, since we reopened.
We never expected our first year open again to be as busy as it has been - lots of returning customers, lots of new customers - over 350 bookings to date.
It's been overwhelming but so rewarding and we're looking forward to next year.
So from Team Springfield - THANK YOU!!
