Please note we are now onto our Autumn/Winter opening hours from 10am - 12 noon daily.

There is no PM drop off or collection available (unless by prior arrangement).

We will revert to our afternoon opening in March 2025.

We are now fully booked for Christmas/New Year 2024

Opening times for this Christmas Period as follows:

Tuesday 24th December (Christmas Eve) - open 9.30am to 10.30am only for drop offs
Wednesday 25th December (Christmas Day) - CLOSED
Thursday 26th December (Boxing Day) - CLOSED
Friday 27th December - open 9.30am to 10.30am only for drop off/collection.
Saturday 28th December - open 10am to 12 noon
Sunday 29th December - open 10am to 12 noon
Monday 30th December - open 10am to 12 noon
Tuesday 31st December - open 10am to 12 noon
Monday 1st January - CLOSED
Thursday 2nd January - open from 10am to 11am

Friday 3rd January onwards - 10am to 12 noon daily.

Bookings 2025

Our diary is now open for all bookings for 2025 and busy/holiday periods are booking up fast - peak times are listed below:

We are open as usual from 2nd to 16th January with drops and collections daily between 10am and 12 noon

Closed Friday 17th - Friday 31st January for annual maintenance.

February Half Term - Friday 14th February - Sunday 2nd March

Easter Holidays - Friday 4th April - Monday 28th April

Easter Weekend - Friday 18th - Monday 21st April

May Half Term - Friday 23rd May - Monday 2nd June

May Day - Monday 5th May

Whitsun - Monday 26th May

Summer Holidays - Friday 18th July - Sunday 7th September

October Half Term - Friday 24th October - Monday 3rd November

Christmas Break - Friday 19th December - Monday 5th January 2026

We do not take deposits, nor surcharges for busy periods - we do ask that our customers give as much notice as possible if dates change/you need to cancel. Cancellation fees do apply during our peak times - please see our website for more details.

We will re-open on Saturday 1st February 2025.

We currently have only four pens available for Christmas 2024 and our opening times are as follows:

23rd December 10am - 12 noon
24th December 9.30am - 10.30am ONLY
25th December - CLOSED
26th December - CLOSED
27th December 9.30am - 10.30am ONLY
28th December 10am - 12 noon
29th December 10am - 12 noon
30th December 10am - 12 noon

Please remember to bring your up to date vaccination card with you to every visit, we cannot board your cats without this.

It's been another really busy summer at the cattery, thanks to all our lovely customers.

We continue to be fully booked until 24th September when we have a few spaces available.

Into October we continue to be busy with only a few spaces left for half term.

Christmas is almost fully booked too and we will close for annual maintenance from 16th to 31st January 2025.

Our diary for 2025 is now open and taking bookings.

Please don't leave it until the last minute for bank holidays and school holidays as we will be fully booked!!

Happy International Cat Day!!!
Pic one is Bacon who arrived with us around Christmas time, a scrap of a thing who shouldn't really have left her mum and was no more than 5 weeks old. We've nursed her, fed her, loved her and she's now probably as big as she's going to get and totally rules the roost.

Pic 2 is Salem, he adopted us during lockdown and true to do he's out exploring so I can't get an actual pic of him! Look at where he's been though!! Yes I have a tracker on him 😂

VACCINATION CARDS

We cannot board your cat without seeing proof of vaccination status. Please do not arrive without your cat's vaccination card as you will be turned away - this is a condition of our license.

You can ask your vet to email details of the most recent vaccination to [email protected] - I will happily print off for their file.

As we approach one of our busiest weekends of the year, we will not have time to call your vets to ascertain vaccination status - this is owner responsibility to provide and we will turn you away without boarding your cat if it is not available.

If you are worried about your cat's vaccination status, please call your vet - we are aware there is a shortage on vaccines currently and some vets are operating waiting lists on a first come first served basis. If your cat goes over the three month grace period for booster vaccines, they will require a full course of vaccinations which takes 3-4 weeks to complete.

Please can we ask everyone to take note of our terms and conditions of booking which can be found here: https://www.springfield-cattery.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/

Specifically we refer to clause 11 for cancellation of bookings and ask for one months notice to cancel a booking during peak season and 48 hours at all other times. If you cancel your booking within one month of the start date during peak season, you are still liable for the full boarding fee.

We do not want to have to start taking non-refundable deposits, but unfortunately this is what we will have to do if we continue to receive late cancellations.
