This lovable trio Naala the Boxer and her Frenchie brothers Meeko ( top) and Jesse have visits from me. They are always so enthusiastic and pleased to see me !! Wonderful, what a welcome I get every time ❤️

Beautiful Snooze is an elderly lady who recently had visits from me. Snooze is deaf now so each morning I would go upstairs and wake her up for her breakfast,she quickly got used to seeing me then heading straight for her food !! Lovely little girl. ❤️

Toby ( left ) and our pup Lola really enjoyed their time together this week, it was Toby's first full holiday with us.
Toby loved his walks, sleeping , eating, playing ball and spending time with Lola in the garden and then a bit more sleeping !! ❤️

Gorgeous Maisey had visits from me this week, she supervised the cleaning of her litter tray, made sure that I put sufficient treats down, enjoyed her meals and absolutely adored her fuss and tummy rubs , lovely little lady ❤️

One of our regular guests,the beautiful Ruby, stayed with us for a night a couple of weeks ago and has recently had a big operation .When Ruby stays we pull out the big sofa bed and one of us ( or both of us ) sleep downstairs with her. On the photo below you can see how comfortable she is. We frequently have elderly /disabled dogs and those recovering from operations boarding which is also one of the reasons why we can't board high energy dogs, another being that our own dog is not comfortable around them. My aim is for all the dogs to feel safe and calm here with dogs of a similar size and energy. ❤️

These wonderful three were here this week, Dylan top left had one overnight, Ralph top right stayed for 9 nights and little Bella stayed for 9 nights too.
All the dogs got on great, I do my best to match their characters and energy levels so that they feel comfortable with each other and they all have the choice of going in a different room if a bit of alone time is needed. Lovely pups ❤️

It's been a busy week with boarders at our Doggy Hotel !! Les is here with our pup Lola on his knee, Poppy in the Middle and Molly to the far left, everyone got along really well. Taz, an elderly Lhasa was having a sleep in the kitchen all snug and quiet , we make sure that the dogs can choose to have some quiet time alone if they need or want this. ❤️

Bertie ( right) went home this morning after his 16 night stay for his big holiday. We will all miss him !! Bertie had lots of fun and especially enjoyed meeting new friends, having cuddles and a couple of trips to an enclosed field where he and Lola could play safely. See you again soon Bertie. ❤️

Betty has regular visits from me, recently I had to give her medicine but after a successful operation she no longer needs this and is looking really well...especially when relaxing in the sunshine ❤️

Gentle Molly has gone home after her 3 night stay, she had a great time and got on well with our pup Lola and Bertie a little Cavapoo. Molly especially enjoyed a run around with Lola and Bertie at Pawsome Pasture in Ockbrook.see you again soon Molly.x

Bella had her first overnight stay this week in preparation for her big holiday , she settled in straight away and was very happy which is fantastic as she has recently been very poorly and had a big operation. We'll done Bella !! ❤️

Barney , a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel Puppy had his first puppy visits from us this week, he is adorable !! Today he enjoyed lovely sunshine while he learned a new game of 'find it' sniffing and searching for some of his dry food , well done clever pup !! ❤️

This is Trevor, I've been doing visits for him for years and every time I go he likes to sit here and swipe me as I walk past with a food or water bowl !!! He thinks it's great , especially when I'm busy and forget and he actually gets me!! Just look at the concentration on his face ..... " today I will get her !! " 😁 x

Gorgeous Jet a big gentle Labradoodle is having temporary walks with us for a few weeks, he is such a lovely boy and really enjoys his walks. Sometimes we can do ad hoc walks on a temporary basis if they can be done at differing times of the day avoiding our solid bookings of lunchtime walks. Jet certainly has a brilliant time !!❤️

Bertie ( bottom of photo) came for his first overnight stay last week and settled really well. Lola thought he was great !! We are looking forward to seeing him again when he has his big holiday with us in the summer. ❤️

Handsome Finn enjoyed his sunny walk today and a nice roll in the grass, he was really happy as he hates the rain and there's been a lot of it on his walks lately!! ❤️

I'm really pleased !! Here is my Home Boarding and Daycare renewed licence ... I have been awarded a 5 star rating which is the highest that can be achieved! The assessment process took 2 and a half hours with officers from the environmental health department here , it was well worth it.

Ruby had another weekend break recently and made herself at home immediately which is fantastic as she is a rescue from Hong Kong .Ruby has been a few times now and is very confident here. We are also able to offer single night stays subject to availability and if at all possible it's best to book these well in advance, a little trial visit is required first so that I can check the doggy dynamics with our own dog , this also helps all new dogs to get to know us and settle in.

Lovely Willow had a day of daycare with us recently , she has stayed with us several times now and really enjoys it. We are able to offer ad hoc daycare dependant on which other dogs are booked in already . Any new dogs for daycare must have a trial visit beforehand and be fully vaccinated including the one for kennel cough before I can take a booking. I carefully match the dogs to our own little dog and any others staying based upon size, calmness, their energy levels and similar playstyles , this way they are all happy as beautiful Willow can vouch for. ❤️

Lovely Flo had visits twice a day for a week from me. Flo soon realised that I was there to feed her and give her some fuss and went from being nervous to climbing onto my knee whenever she could ! Beautiful little cat. ❤️

A typical afternoon in our Doggy Hotel, all the dogs are happy and relaxed in each others company and enjoying a rest. I think I might have a sleep now too.........❤️

Last week I looked after Oscar and Bluey. I loved looking after them and it brought back fond memories of my own tortoise Samantha who I had for over 20 years ❤️
