Walking your buddy is much more than exercising as they explore and get the outdoor stimulation they need. I will walk your dogs on a one to one basis unless agreed with all parties
I will always walk with your dog on the lead/harness unless you give me your signed consent to allow me to walk your dog off the lead. Day care/overnight stays

Dogs can become lonely as they are naturally sociable animals and may develop behavioural problems and separation anxiety. Be sure to bring their beds, crates, blankets, toys, food anything to make it feel like a home from home.

1/2 day care is available for up to 4 hours. Day care plus with overnight stays £35.00

Home visits
If you are going to be away from home longer than usual or need that extra support. I can tidy your mail away, water plants, keep your pet company, provide fresh water, feed and walk. Cat care
Chicken care
Home visits for puppies/dogs

Look at this little beauty enjoying her first half day trial at mine. I love it when they love playing ball. It's a good distraction to help them settle and so is a walk so they get to know their environment when they stay for their holidays 🥰🐾

Taking care of chickens is a fun job to do while the owners are away on holiday. These have a lovely secure and spacious coop which I clean everyday to maintain sanitation and odour control. These layer hens need to be fed a well balanced diet including a good source of calcium and fresh water given daily.

This little girl goes back today, she's been a real bundle of fun and loves smooching up next to me. We played ball, I mean we played a lot of ball, rolling it along the corridor and outside so she gets plenty of daily exercise. We had a lot of fun hiding the ball so she has to find it. To say she loves her ball is an understatement 🥰 Here is a short video of her zooming from one room to the other xx

I'm looking forward to having this little guy back already. He's been a bundle of fun. He loved his walkies and playing ball with a long line. He loved his cuddles and belly being tickled. He had a healthy appetite and showed off his tricks to earn his treats. Just look at that big smile 💙🐾💜🐾🩷 🐾

It's so quiet now this lively and cuddly labradoodle has gone. He loved to be snuggled up with me, he loved his food and playing tug o war with all his toys, he loved his walks and I loved having him here. The 10 days went quick and I look forward to having him back 🩵💜🩷

I attended a very enjoyable canine first aid course at the village hall in Awsworth today. I'm now covered for a further 3 years. Having this qualification meets the standards required for my dog boarding license. It's good to have gained more up-to-date knowledge and techniques. Thanks to 'Canine First Aid Derby'.

It was one out and one in today. The first gorgeous boy, was a successful overnight trial. I was pleased to hear the owner now feels more comfortable about going away 💖 The second is a lovely little regular who has been coming to me for 6 years 💞💜💞

Here we have another successful overnight trial. It's good to know that they are happy and settled here. I didn't hear a peep from them overnight and they both ate their breakfast. I'm looking forward to having these back soon 🥰😍

Isn't she gorgeous with that beautiful little face 😍 We went on plenty of walks locally while she boarded at mine. We played a lot of tug-o-war with her rope, she did zoomies in and outdoors, she loved snuggling up and getting lots of cuddles. It was lovely to have her around and I look forward to having her back later in the year xx

A typical half day trial is about creating a bond with your dog so they get used to a different environment. They love the new smells during a short walk. There's plenty of playtime and cuddles before I nip out and monitor their behaviour while they are left on their own. You can tell there are no separation anxiety issues as he didnt hold back on his food 😋 This little guy did so well. I'm now looking forward to having him back for a longer day to include an overnight stay. This is all in preparation for their main stay.
As January and February are reasonably quiet months. Now is the time to be thinking about your holidays ahead and using this time to have their trials 🥰😍

I have had the pleasure of looking after this little Cavapoo while the owners were away. Here's a video of her playing happily. She has stayed here several times now and I'm already looking forward to having her back x😍x

This puppy Cockerpoo had a successful half day trial. I took him for a little walk, he showed me what tricks he could do such as sit, paw, lie down, he even did a twirl. We had some chill time before I left him for around 15 minutes and the recording showed very little anxiety. I was really pleased to report back to his owner that he was ready for an overnight stay. Watch how he reacts to the rattan gorilla I call Gogs 🦍😍 xx
