We're incredibly proud to announce that Altrad Belle have reached the fantastic achievement of 1 million hours Lost Time Injury-free.

This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the company's unwavering commitment to a safe working environment, headed-up by the members of the Health and Safety Committee, and the dedication of the employees to carry out their day to day duties in a safe manner.

To mark the occasion, all employees were invited to spend an afternoon together last week for a complimentary celebration BBQ with drinks, ice cream van and cakes too.

Altrad Group CEO, Ran Oren, alongside a number of HSE Managers from other UK Altrad subsidiaries (Trad, Generation and RMD Kwikform) attended the event to show their appreciation and congratulate everyone on their fantastic achievement.

Earlier this month Horton Lodge Community Special School held their annual school summer fayre to raise funds.

It was a fantastic day for all the family with games stalls, tombola's, face painting, BBQ, ice cream, cakes and lots of independent stalls selling hand crafted items.

Altrad Belle kindly donated a Warrior Wheelbarrow to the school that was auctioned off and raised £150. Pictured is Janine, winner of the auction, enjoying her new purchase.

Over £4000 was raised in total which will be a huge help for the school. Well done to all involved for making it such a fantastic day and raising a huge amount.

On Monday 8th July 2024 HYPAC (𝐻𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑡𝑜𝑛 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑃𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝐴𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝐶𝑙𝑢𝑏) held their annual summer BBQ and achievements awards. The club was created to address the issues of lack of access to facilities, equipment leaders’ skills acquisition and competition for young people in Hartington and the surrounding district. It is run by a voluntary dedicated team, School and Parents Parish Council, Village Hall, Parochial Church Council and Hartington Community Group and are supported by Derbyshire Dales, Active Derbyshire, RDSSP and Youth Sports Trust.

As an activity club rather than a sports specific club, their aim is to help young people engage in a wide range of activities that they might not otherwise easily access. Their key principles include learning to work together, respecting oneself and others, and developing essential like skills such as confidence, resilience, and the ability to challenge oneself.

They run an annual programme of 30 weeks per year on Monday evenings from 5.30 – 7.30pm for 6 – 12-year-olds. This is a full programme of activities which includes, multi skills and a range of individual and team sports, problem solving and teamwork activities, leadership, and life skills as well as outdoor activities delivered by Lea Green Learning and Development Centre (𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑛.𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑏𝑦𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑟𝑒-𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑑𝑜𝑜𝑟𝑠.𝑜𝑟𝑔/)

Pictured is Leek Cricket Club Captain Alex Mellor using one of our Warrior Wheelbarrows in an attempt to dry their pitch after the huge amount of rain we have had recently.

It's great to see the wheelbarrow that we donated to is proving very useful to them. We're delighted that we were able to help them out and we wish them every success for this season and beyond.

Monyash May Market was held on Monday 27th May by the Monyash Primary School PTFA and the day was a fantastic success raising over £3,000, the most ever, which will be used to support the children of Monyash Primary School with trips, materials, and activities throughout the year!

After some concerns about the weather it turned into a fantastic family fun day with games, stalls, a bouncy castle, ice cream, May pole dancing, well dressings, music and a very competitive welly wanging, ending up with rounders on the village green and the raffle with first prize being the one of our Warrior wheelbarrow's that we were happy to donate.

The winner, Al, was thrilled with his Warrior wheelbarrow, and resisted the offers from many around him to buy it off him straightaway, and the suggestions it be kept at the local pub to assist those who might need some help getting home.

Well done to all involved for making it such a fantastic day and raising a huge amount for a fantastic cause.

Altrad Belle were delighted to support Speedy Hire and showcase our innovative E+ 82v Li-Ion Battery Range at Speedy's Innovation Centre as they hosted the Southern Region Institution meeting yesterday, to coincide with World Environment Day.

The emission free, cordless E+ 82v battery powered range includes the world famous Minimix 150E+ cement mixer, the DC 300E+ Disc Cutter that has a 112mm cutting depth, allowing for the cutting of soil pipes with a single cut and the PCLX 32E+ plate compactor that has the high performance compaction of its petrol powered equivalent, but without the environmental impact.

🌎 Happy World Environment Day! 🌎

In line with the commitment of the Altrad Group to protect our environment and to celebrate , a number of Altrad Belle employees and local councillor Lee Spensley recently took part in litter picking to help clean up the local area.

Areas included in the routes were Dovedale, Ilam, the Manifold Valley and Sheen; all scenic routes where the surroundings are enjoyed by thousands of people, both local and tourists, each year. There was also litter collected by one employee in the village of Norton Green, Stoke-on-Trent – the closest city to the Altrad Belle Head Office.

Showing the spirit of the local community, the children and leaders from the local HYPAC (Hartington Young People’s Activity Club) group also spent one of their sessions collecting litter from around the village of Hartington.

An impressive 130kg of waste was collected, with 15kg of this being plastic waste. Other prominent items collected were metal drinks cans, paper tissues, glass bottles, cigarette butts, dog poo bags and fast food cartons. All waste was then collected by our waste management partner Peak Waste Recycling, who took it to the local recycling centre for processing.

World Environment Day is celebrated every year to create awareness when it comes to the issue’s we are all facing regarding our environment. This year’s campaign focuses on land restoration, desertification and drought resilience under the slogan “Our land. Our future. We are .”

The day is an occasion to encourage millions of people across the globe to do their part in preserving and protecting our planet and its resources for future generations. It is a time to come together and to take action to protect our world. We have only one planet and we must play an active and responsible role in preserving it. The theme for our World Environment Day initiative for 2024 is .

St. Lukes Church, Sheen held their annual Flower Festival at the end of May to raise funds to support the church.

This year the festival had the theme of 'Made in Staffordshire', so being based in the village we were happy to loan some of our products to help with the display.

As you can see in the photos, the organisers made a beautiful arrangement around our new revolutionary battery-powered Minimix 150E+ Cement Mixer and battery-powered DC 300E+ Disc Cutter as well as our Warrior Wheelbarrow.

A number of other companies were also represented including Marstons, Michelin and JCB...showcasing why Staffordshire has the name 'The Creative County'

Pictured with Ray and Colin at the new depot at North End Business Park on Alfreton Road (DE21 4BN) were Tool Hire Depot Manager - Jo Jones, Tool Hire Assistant - Michael Reed and Sales Manager - Ian Cartwright.

Also pictured was one of the first customers at the depot, Phil from All Aspects Paving, who purchased an Altrad Belle PCLX 32 Plate Compactor.

𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 - 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 - 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟱

As part of the Altrad Group’s drive to support the United Nations' Sustainability Development Goals (The Global Goals), Altrad Belle are delighted to announce the creation of the Altrad Woodland Initiative at Hulme End in the Peak District National Park, England, focusing on Climate Action, Life on Land and Good Health and Wellbeing.

The fifth phase of planting has taken place today at Bank House Farm Camp Site (), with 100 trees being planted along the perimeter of one of the fields of the site. Richard MacPhail, Sonia Hicks and Joanne Shenton from Altrad Belle joined local Councillor Lee Spensley and some local residents to carry out the planting.

The trees will mitigate the effects of climate change, provide suitable habitation for a selection of wildlife whilst helping with ground stabilisation on an area that is susceptible to flooding from the river Manifold that runs alongside the field on 2-sides.

The location was also chosen as the additional trees will help to reduce the noise of passing traffic and in time provide extra privacy for the campers using the field.

Ash trees currently sit on the perimeter but this species is being affected by Ash Dieback disease which is expected to kill off 80% of the trees across UK, so the new trees will also offset the eventual loss of the Ash.

The trees planted were all native to Britain and included Silver Birch, Wild Cherry, Crab Apple, Field Maple, Oak and Lime. In total over 200 trees have been planted in the Peak District over the past couple of years as part of the Altrad Belle Woodland Project.

💥Leek’s Super Two's Win the Cup!💥

Huge Congratulation to Leek Rugby Football Club 2nd XV, who won the Staffordshire Centenary Cup at the weekend! The Moorlanders beat Lichfield 28-19 at Altrad Park to claim their first silverware, giving a fitting climax to the end of their centenary season.

Well done to all involved at what is obviously a very well-run club and one that we are hugely proud to be associated with!

A massive thank you to everyone that took the time to visit us at Jewson Live 2024 on Friday at the NEC, Birmingham.

It was a hugely successful show that allowed us to exhibit our vast range of Light Construction Equipment and give people a hands-on look at the NEW innovative products in our E+ 82v battery-powered range.

It was also fantastic to be able to catch up with many people in the industry including the guys from Super Trowel , Mark Marshall from Lawn Stripes and Hedges - Limited and Ash Mahoney from Mahoney Brickworks ltd , pictured with Altrad Belle Managing Director, Ray Neilson and our BRAND NEW battery powered disc cutter....the DC 300E+

5 members of the Derby Mountain Rescue Team, Paul Barlow, Chris Smith, Vicky Green, Martin Dodd and Ady Koe with his search dog Bryn answered the call from Altrad Belle who are one of their Platinum sponsors to make a visit to the Hartington HYPAC (Hartington Young Peoples Activity Club) after school group.

The HYPAC group which is for local children to attend after school activities, is also supported by Altrad Belle. The Group is run by Mark Webley with the support from Martin Crimlis, as well as other helpers who all give up their own free time to make sure that the children have fun and are learning new skills along the way.

The children were given a hands-on lesson on what the Mountain Rescue is all about and how they support and help anybody who is in a life-threatening situation.

Sonia Hicks from HR at Altrad Belle commented that the children had a great time learning about all the rescue equipment and had fun practising first aid on each other. The star of the show was search and rescue dog Bryn who plays a vital role in the mountain rescue.

Richard MacPhail who helps to organise CSR for Altrad Belle, commented that the Derby Mountain Rescue did not hesitate to accept our request to visit the HYPAC group, even though it was not an emergency. This just demonstrates how committed they all are to give up their free time to come along and talk and demonstrate to the children.

We witnessed a fantastic 64-20 win for Leek Rugby Football Club over Northwich this afternoon at Altrad Park.

The home side ran in nine tries to secure their biggest win of the season and with it ensured they'll be playing level 5 rugby again next season.

Rob McDermott and Joe Gorman were voted Men of the Match, however it was a tough choice as they all played very well.

Leek 2's also had a comprehensive victory running out 86-0 winners against a scratch Aldridge team to cement their third place in the Counties 3 Midlands West (North) league.

PS....pardon the scoreboard, Northwich definitely scored 20 😄
