Ruby Lubbock had only recently got her new pony Clarence, when a freak accident on him lead to her being in a wheelchair for months. She was bound to be worried after a huge battle in her health, especially riding her “new pony” and more so in canter how the accident took place.
So when the time come it was very special and needed to be done in the best way to ensure no more pain occurred.
Not only did Ruby return to riding but with the same pony she’s even achieved bridleless.
We worked together and with love at the core and now nothing stops them

So lucky to have had this mare from foal. She was bred at Mistrals Spanish Stud - Palominos, Silver dapple & Buckskin Andalusians foaled in 2018. Epona Equine Reiki & Animal Therapy Centre was the most wonderful start for her with the luck I was able to visit most days until weaned. We’ve since enjoyed a lovely journey and all based on love. So here we start the first vital steps to working in partnership with your horse. Bryony has done incredibly well to start with her horse Pyms. Friesians are highly intelligent amongst the horse breeds and being a mare she carries some sass. Bare in mind this is only cropped with an insight of the work they do together. Despite the mare being kind hearted and sweet she knows she’s strong and will express if she’s not happy. The main aim of the session is for the horse to choose to be with her owner rather then use equipment to stop her leaving. Mountains take time to climb and what you can’t see in the video is an audience of people outside the arena which Pyms of course has to ignore to connect with Bryony as well as being known to nap at the gate. What the importance of the exercise is was to join the two to become one energy like two wings of a butterfly working synchronous. A big deal for Bryony when we first met had a phobia and fear of horses so please don’t judge or mock as one day it could be you.
