Sandons Saddlery is the one of the largest saddlerys and tack shops in East Anglia. Let us sell your second-hand items for you free of charge.

From our store based near Dereham in Norfolk, we have the largest selection of second-hand stock, including, saddles, rugs, bridle work, riding clothing and footwear. We also hire trailers, clippers and massage pads. We have a fully qualified SMS master saddle fitter who can come out to your yard or we have use of indoors facilities for you to bring your horse to us by appointment only. Sandons ha

s been established over 35 years and is a family run business. We aim to offer friendly advice and service. All our staff have a life time experience in the equine world. Our large store offers over 4000sq ft of exciting goods for both horse and rider spread over two floors. All major brands stocked and special orders taken.

🐴 Job Vacancies 🐴

If you are passionate about horses and have excellent customer service skills, this could be the job for you!

We have 2 new permanent Shop Assistant positions become available here at Sandons Saddlery.

We have approximately 48hrs per week available, this will be split between both positions. Hours to be discussed but each positions will include a weekend day. Please state minimum hours you required and preferred weekend day in your cover letter.

The roles involve:
- Assisting and serving customers
- Stocking shelves, stock rotation, stock taking
- Unpacking/pricing deliveries
- Working the tills and computers
- Hat and body protector fitting
- Answering the phone
- Email correspondence
- Booking hire services
- Help loading the van
- Visual Merchandising
- Assisting with online shop
- Help with social media, advertisement, events and promotions
- Ensuring shop, office and toilets are clean and tidy
- Health and safety protocols are adhered to
Training will be given

Applicants must be/have -
- Quick learning
- Passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service and driving sales
- Good maths, English and I.T skills
- Equine knowledge and background
- Good knowledge of social media
- Polite confident person
- Reliable trustworthy and punctual
- Able to work part of a team and individual
- Able to use own initiative and complete tasks fully.
- Able to multi task
- Excellent attention to detail

The successful candidate will be part of a busy and friendly team.

This is a physical job and you will be on your feet most of the day.

**Minimum age 18**

Last online orders before Christmas need to be placed before 3pm on Friday 20th December. We cannot guarantee that you will receive your goods in time for Christmas but you’ll have a pretty decent chance! 🤞😁
Any orders placed after this time will not be processed until Thursday 2nd January.
