Offering horse riding, equestrian and farm experiences as well as self-catering accommodation nested in 30 acres of the scenic Faughan Valley just a stones throw away from Derry City in Ireland. This can be as a young person where you can join our Pony Club, meet new friends earn badges and tests as you learn to ride and look after horses; as a visitor who wants unhurried adventures on horseback,

taking time to experience our destination and learn about our culture: a form of therapy from the stresses of everyday life where our horses allow us to be present in our environment enabling us to learn about ourselves as well as new skills; or want to try something different or start up horse riding again. Catering for all abilities, including beginners, intermediate and experienced riders, we've been delivering quality lessons, trail rides and other activities since 2007.

Ardmore road closed at Beech Hill Hotel. Follow diversion signs to dual carriageway to take 1st exit to Claudy. Then follow the sign to Derry to go the opposite way on the dual carriageway & take the junction for Ardmore. This gets you back on the Ardmore Road. Go along this road until you see the flats on the lefthand side & you are at the bottom of the Bigwood Road.

To support our training for members at D, D+ and C test level, we are offering a training day on 30th October 2024, 10am-4pm. This will include both riding and care elements.

🚗Road Rider Badge🚗

The first training session for our Road Rider Badge will take place on Friday 1st November 1pm - 4pm. It is recommended that this badge is passed before the C Test Certificate can be awarded but it is not mandatory.

This winter, some of our pony club members will be training for their Road Rider Badge, with the assessment taking place in December. Our first training session will take place on Friday 1st November. 🚗🐴
