❌ NOTICE - BOOKING/CANCELLATION FEE NOW REQUIRED❌
We hate to start a post with a rant and negativity especially at this time of year however this is an issue that we've let go on for far too long and it needs to be addressed.
This is nothing personal to any of our clients and we thank all our regulars who throughout the year support us and never let us down but there is a small few who can't have the manners or decency to respect our business and cancel with at least 24 hours notice.
Today ALONE, we've had 4 customers cancel within minutes of their appointments or just not show up. This is not acceptable and it is impossible for us to fill this appointment with no notice.
This is the busiest time of the year and we have given these customers their reminders the night before, we have a cancellation list and customers being turned away who could have made use of the appointment.
We understand that things happen that are out of your control that lead to needing to cancel last minute, however if it’s just the case that you can’t be bothered to make it to the appointment please let us know at least the night before so we can allocate the appointment to someone on the cancellation list.
From now on we have no choice but to enforce the policy of a booking/ cancellation fee of £10 if you cancel last minute or do not show for your appointment. This will be deducted from the cost of the Groom on the day. Failure to attend or cancel within 24 hours notice will result in cancellation fee.
This is not something we have wanted to do or have taken lightly to have to introduce but we just feel that we have no other option as this is our income that we rely on. We will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment if you let us know with 24 hours notice.
