Can we PLEASE make sure our animals indoor and outdoor are safe with this storm coming.
It's looking to be a bad one.
Check the locks on your gates especially when letting ones out for a p*e.
Check on your livestock and fences.

Any cats that roam in and out of the house I'd keep in until it's over.
Hopefully it's not as bad as it's sounding but we're not very far from the purple alert warning.

Received from a reader today...

"Hi would you be able to put a post up for me regarding a female dog that’s been sitting outside my work since yesterday.

I’m not sure who owns her but showed up yesterday and I arrived this morning and the dog was still in the same spot.

She’s freezing cold, I’ve fed and given her water. I just want to see if anyone knows of her before I give her to rainbow rehoming shelter as I can’t keep her. She’s so loving that someone has to own her."

This dog is currently at Templemoyle Nursing Home where enquiries should be directed.

A must watch for all dog owners especially poodle mix breeds that come to salon.
When I say it will have to go short it’s not because am choosing to bald the dog. It’s decided by how many matts and how tight they are. I know over the years I’ve had to shave dogs right down from a long fluffy coat due to matts and thought I’d explained why, but on collection I’ve been met with sad faces and disappointment. Even as far as the customer not returning probably thinking to themselves I was doing a wrong to them and their dog.
I am a dog groomer because I love dogs , I will always choose the ethical and pain free option for your dog. If you don’t agree with this then honestly am not the right groomer for you.
