⚠️Important foster appeal for Bert

In September, Bert, a terrified Collie puppy, spent five weeks in Corran Kennels. Whilst he made progress, it wasn't enough to begin the search for his forever home as they'd hoped.
We were asked to take Bert, and he officially became an Animal Connexions dog.

Now, almost three months later, we need your help. Bert has come as far as he can in kennels. He is in urgent need of one-to-one attention and can only get this in a foster home. Just like Brodie, we don't want Bert to be waiting in kennels throughout December when he could be in a home environment.

We are looking for:
An adult-only home.

Bert has made the progress he has thanks to our other canine residents. Bert can live with another good-natured dog in his foster home.

A secure garden.

I will be closed to next Thursday, away to see the best band in the world. Completely off line and in my happy place ❤️. High chance I’ll not recover from the excitement 😬😂. So any messages sent over weekend and early next week won’t be replied to until end of next week at soonest. All appointments are filled for remainder of the year.

Update!
Flipping heck 12 hours ago i was crying with stress thinking i had to give this all up soon and today im crying with the weight off me, i cant believe you lot, the amount of messages i have to reply to is more than ive ever got and i will get back to you all soon as i can. Blown away by our wee town thank you! Thank you ! Thank you!

Guys as of this evening, I can confirm I'm at breaking point. I've been struggling to keep up with the social media side but rescue is at crisis point..

Not with the animals, but with the bills and stress and no help and endless worry.

Currently I'm running a ship mainly on my own in this town and are appealing to anyone who can help.
Either in the shop, dog walking or anyone who's good with paperwork too when people are off.

If things dont change by the new year I don't think I can do this much longer and that makes me sad.
I will always help animals but running charity and shop single handed is alot.

I need to get this bill down or I can't help the next animal with serious injuries.

Please start helping your charities theyre all struggling not just me.
I may not have 100 dogs here atm but I take in any injured in our town or Any whos lives are at risk or help where I can with homeless or low income or stray cats and release. I do my best and im proud but now I'm asking for help.

If everyone can just send £1 it would give me some light in a very dark tunnel to keep going forward.

This is just one of many bills in today. In All Creatures Veterinary Health Centre Its not possible to be able to do this without help from councils and they don't help but expect you to take the load or animals suffer. Its not on!

✨ Important Update to Grooming Appointment Times ✨

To help create a more structured and manageable schedule (and ensure I can continue offering the best care for your pets), I’ll be introducing set grooming time slots going forward.

🐾 Medium breeds (such as Cockapoos, Cocker Spaniels, Schnauzers, etc.)
• Will now be booked into the earlier time slots only.
• This helps me manage my time and energy effectively, preventing burnout and ensuring every dog receives the attention they deserve.

🐾 Small breeds (e.g. Bichons, Shih Tzus, Lhasas, etc.)
🐾 Mini breeds (e.g. Maltese, Yorkies, Chihuahuas, etc.)
• Will be available to book into any of the time slots throughout the day.

👉 If you are booking two dogs together, please select and book each dog separately as there will no longer be a “two dogs together” option online.

Update the finder told us the vets she went to have refused to hand her back to the original finder to come into foster to us with a new home waiting if no one comes forward. So who knows where she went .
