I hope everyone had a lovely weekend, I enjoyed two days in London with my daughter.

It looks like we are in for a few very hot days this week, especially today and tomorrow.

Remember, if walks are cancelled or shortened, or changed to a home visit, it's for the benefit of the dogs, not mine.

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine ☀️here are some photos of walks this past week.

Just a few notices.

Firstly, i've heard that we are due a mini heatwave. As always, I never like to put any dogs health at risk, so if I feel it is too hot to take dogs out, then they will be cancelled, or changed to a home/garden visit for those left home alone. Owners will be notified. I hope you all appreciate and understand this.

Secondly, as we are now in the school summer holidays, I have a few openings for extra or one off dog walks, please get in touch if you want to take advantage of this. These spaces will primarily be for existing clients only, and during the holidays only.

Thirdly,, a reminder that I am taking Monday 5th August and Friday 9th August off, I will still be working inbetween.

A massive thank you to all those of you who have accommodated earlier walks, later walks, home visits or cancelled walks. Summer is finally here, so let's hope it plans to hang around for a bit, but cool enough for the dogs to enjoy their walks.

No dog has ever died from a missed walk, but has from a hot walk, which doesn't bare thinking about.

Walks should be back to normal for the rest of this week, and next week 😃

If I cancel, change to a home and garden visit or shorten walks due to the heat, it is not done lightly. Your dogs health and welfare is very important to me. Any walks that are changed will be notified via messenger, text message, WhatsApp or your preferred method of communication either the evening before or on the day of the walk.

Summer appears to have arrived, but who know for how long !

As usual, if I feel it is too hot to take your dogs out, or need to reduce the time they are out, or even change to a home visit instead, all will be notified individually.

Luckily, today's dogs are lucky enough to live close to some lovely, wooded and shaded areas.

I have an opening for a regular one hour or half an hour solo dog walk (or more than one from same household) on a Wednesday afternoon or Friday morning, in Devizes, subject to a meet & greet and completion of paperwork.

Apart from the cat visits already booked in, I am now closed for Christmas. Thank you to all my clients past and present for your continued support this year.
