We write with sad newsβ¦ π
We have had a number of complaints about the amount of dog poo, dug holes and the gate not being locked according to the terms and conditions you have all agreed to before using the field βπΌ βοΈ
1. Can we please remind you that you MUST discourage your dog from digging. While we understand this can be difficult - it is becoming unsafe. Olly has spent many hours refilling holes in the field and this seems to be getting bad again. Please supervise your dog to prevent this! π
3. For safety measures the gate MUST be locked! There are pictures and instructions of how to close the gates on the gates. If you are unsure then please do get in touch and we can pop down and show you π πΆ
Sadly this is not something we can do alone so please please can we all take responsibility and help us to keep Foxley Paddock a safe, enjoyable field for all dogs and their humansπΎ π π
Thank you,
Coral and Olly

Having owned Siberian Huskies for just under 20 years, we know what life is like having to live with dogs that cannot be let off the lead. Huskies are known for their strong prey drive, their general disinterest in recall and their strong natural trait to run in one direction.
This has meant nearly two decades of exercising our dogs completely on lead or trying desperately to find somewhere safe and secure for them to have good off-lead fun outside of our garden. We were fortunate enough to come across five and a half acres of land for auction just outside of the village of Urchfont in Devizes and decided to bite the bullet.
Why is it called Foxley Paddock? Simple really. It is located very close to Foxley Corner and we have a somewhat strong affiliation with foxes. They have been my absolute favourite British wild animal for life, our sonβs middle name is Fox and huskies are supposed to have βfoxy heads and a fox-like brush tailβ. The name βFoxley Paddockβ came naturally - a safe and secure place to exercise dogs.
I now show and breed our own Siberian Huskies with the plan of being at the field first thing in the morning with them and last thing at night - at the very least! But how about your dogs? We want to give you the opportunity to rent a secure, large area by the hour to exercise your dogs - free from distractions and free from stress for you and them.
We look forward to welcoming you to Foxley Paddock in Urchfont.
