I'm officially RE-OPENING my Etsy shop!

I apologise it has been far too long! With thesis writing, viva and moving house etc. I just wasn't ready to re-open, but I finally am now.

I'm just doing a final stock check this evening and will be open later tonight! 🥳

Excited to get back into making collars and leads and to see all your fabulous doggies! 🐶🐶

It's nearly time for Christmas, only 10 days to go!

I will be closing my shop on Sunday, but cannot guarantee Christmas delivery anymore due to royal mail delays.

I won't be open again until late January/February

I've been shut for soo long because of thesis writing, and even though I am still writing (nearly there 🤞) I really wanted to open up for Christmas.

Who doesn't love Christmas collars!

Orders will likely be slower than usual due to writing and working full time, so please be patient ❤️

Christmas Collars! 🎄

This year I have selected 9 Christmas fabrics for collars, and added Rose Gold Hardware for a little extra shine (only available in 25mm).

Unfortunately, I have had a delivery issue with red plastic buckles, I hoped to have them delivered weeks ago but they still haven't shown up. So, I'm afraid I cannot offer red buckles currently. Of course I will update this as soon as they arrive - if they ever arrive!

£10 a collar
Free delivery in Didcot and surrounding villages
£2 postage (Royal Mail 1st Class)
Last recommend posting date for Royal Mail is Tuesday 21st December, so please order by 5pm Sunday 19th December for me to make orders in time.

If you are interested in a matching lead do let me know and I will try to help, but this will depend on fabric availability.

I meant to post this when it was announced but I've been so busy I completely forgot. Still a few days left to enter!

A local groomer got in touch with me to ask if I would be willing to offer a prize for her raffle raising funds for Many Tears Animal Rescue. We were so lucky to get Sally from them as a rescue puppy and we hope to be able to rescue from them again in the future - I know so many other people with rescues from MT too!

They are an amazing rescue centre, so of course I agreed to provide a collar and lead set as one of the raffle prizes, lots of other amazing prizes too. All entries will go to supporting the wonderful work they do at Many Tears! ❤

Time to talk harnesses!

I've always said I wanted to make harnesses, and people often ask me if I can. It's taken some time but I'm finally starting to turn my ideas into reality and hope to have two designs as samples next week!

This is Sally's current harness but she absolutely hates that it has to go over her head.

The two harnesses I plan on making will be:
1 - a step in harness
2 - a Y-front harness that can have an optional buckle for the neck piece for other fussy dogs like Sally ❤️

In the future, I hope to be able to offer a fleece lined version of the Y-front harness for extra comfort.

Managed to miss out three collars the other week - completely forgot I had new animals safari fabrics that I absolutely love! And the Eyes must have been staring me right in the face but didn't get uploaded.

So many collars & lots of new fabrics!!!

I've been very busy making example collars for every fabric - I counted 26 fabrics not including Christmas fabrics - so here's a little peak this weeks collar tower all to be uploaded soon.

My Etsy shop will be updated shortly too to include all available collars.

40mm Wider Collars with Metal Buckles - plus lots more!

I had some requests for wider collars and wanted to be be able to fulfill those requests and cater better for your large dogs - now I finally can!

I struggled to find large buckles, so I had to bulk buy, and ordered in their metal buckles, d-rings and tri-glides and snap triggers in 20mm and 25mm as the quality is great.

The new buckles are slightly more angular in shape but easier to open and close, I still have original metal buckles in stock so they can be requested.

Because of this I will be selling components individually and in sets on Etsy for anyone wanting to make their own collars and leads or for other small businesses in a similar situation to me 😊

METAL BUCKLES & TRI-GLIDES!

So this is my exciting new collars component - metal buckles and tri-glides - I love how they look plus they match any fabric!

I wish I could have released them for Christmas but I wanted to make sure they'd had thorough testing first, to make sure they are strong and durable.

I'm tempted to use metal tri-glides as default, they are so nice, what do you think?

NEW VALENTINES FABRICS!

I hope everyone managed to take some time to relax and enjoy time to themselves over Christmas and New Year.

I know I did, which is why it's been quiet on here, but I'm bouncing into the New Year with some NEW HEARTS FABRICS ready for Valentines day!

I'll make some collar and lead sets for Bobby & Sally over the weekend to show them off. We've been testing another new component over the past couple months and I'm excited to release that on the weekend too 😁

The Posties are working so hard, but mail is taking much longer than usual - so much post being sent this year.

So I'm changing my suggested last order date to Friday, in the hopes they will arrive with you before Christmas Day! 🎄❤

Royal Mails latest recommended posting date is Monday the 21st December, as long as I have your order by Saturday the 19th December they should get to you by Christmas. I can't guarantee that though, as postage could take longer, so please order sooner rather than later 😊

Because it's nearly Christmas we went and visited the most Christmassy house we know of (which happens to be on our street). They collect donations each year and this years donations will be going to Didcot Foodbank!

Today is Remembrance Sunday, Bobby & Sally have been wearing their Poppy collars all day - we usually take them off in the house! It's never too late to order a Poppy collar, they look great and I'll continue donating £2 from each purchase to The Royal British Legion.
