We've reached the end of another busy week out and about and at Rawly HQ - wasn't it glorious to see some sun and feel some warmth....a hint of warmer days to come perhaps ☀️🤞🏻

A few stock updates, we realise it's been a bit hit and miss this week!
Beef - we're due a big beef delivery this week and as soon as this arrives we'll be full steam in production to increase our stock of all of our beef 80:10:10's and minces.

Lamb - we have had to find a new lamb supply and it's been a bit of a challenge to find something of the quality we demand at the right price point. We think we've got it now and we will be receiving delivery this week. As with the beef products, as soon as it is with us and we've approved the quality we'll be flat out rebuilding our stocks.

All being well, we're expecting that we will be back up to full stock of everything by the end of next week. As ever, thank you for your patience, it is always appreciated.

Our current stock will be updated tomorrow morning (Saturday 22nd).

We've had so many questions and messages about the change of packaging we thought we thought we ought to clarify. DEFRA rules have always stated that we needed to use leakproof packaging; we've always maintained that our packaging is leakproof (aside from the debacle with the biodegradable boxes last year 🤦‍♀️) unless you tip it onto its side once it has defrosted. However, they are now trying to level the playing field for all raw dog food manufacturers and the overall decision is that the cardboard boxes are not leakproof and so to abide by the rules we are not allowed to use them going forward. We are therefore now in the process of looking for suitable new packaging that is sustainable and works for our product and for you.

We're in the early stages of research, we want to take the time to get it right so we'll stick with our brown boxes until we've found what we need. We're really keen for your input though - any suggestions? Anything you'd like us to avoid? We'll take it all into account and we promise we'll do our very best to find a solution that works for all us.

January doesn't normally bother me but I have to say, I was glad to see the back of it this year! What a month! What with the freezing temperatures at the start of the month causing issues with production, massive demand, chasing late deliveries and illness in our small team, it was a challenge to say the least! So whilst we are glad to welcome February in you will see from our stock that we're not quite back on top of it yet 😫 The Lamb Tripe, Venison and Beef 80:10:10's will be making their way back into stock over the next 24 hours or so and the Ox Tripe ones will be available from Wednesday. We're getting there, please bear with us! If you're waiting for something specific, please add yourself to the waiting list. This way, you'll get a notification as soon as we add stock, it also lets us know which products to prioritise.

Alongside all of the above, we are now also trying to source new packaging; during our routine DEFRA visit we were officially informed that we aren't able to continue using our lovely cardboard boxes. More to follow on this over the next couple of months...!

And we're done! The last collections and deliveries of 2024 are completed and so now it's time for a few days off for a bit of family time and relaxation (if you can call Christmas relaxing 🤔😂).

To allow us to plan production while we are closed (and manage our stock a little better!) all orders for delivery on 2nd/3rd January and collections for 3rd January need to be in by this Friday, 27th January. Any orders received after that will be processed w/c 6th January.

As always, a massive thank you to everyone who has left us lovely messages and gifts, makes us smile and so grateful to have such wonderful customers 😊

Don't forget that this Friday is the deadline for any orders for next week. Any orders received after Friday will be processed in January.

Monday 23rd is the last day we are open for collections (pre-ordered) until Friday 3rd January.
We will be delivering our usual Thursday orders on Monday 23rd and Friday orders on Tuesday 24th. If you have a subscription your renewal order will be pushed through in time for this.

Just a reminder that we will be open for pre-booked collections only on Monday 23rd December and then we're closed for Christmas until Friday 3rd January. Deadline for collections/orders during Christmas week is Friday 20th, orders received after this will be held until the week commencing 30th December.

We're bringing deliveries forward during Christmas week so that the usual Thursday deliveries will be on Monday 23rd and Friday deliveries will be on Tuesday 24th. If you have a subscription you do not need to do anything, we will bring your renewal forward to accommodate the earlier delivery days.

Deliveries will take place on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd December as usual. The deadline for orders for delivery on those days and collections on Friday 3rd is Friday 27th December. Any orders received after this date will be held until the week commencing 6th January 2025.

Stock update!

We're due a delivery of venison (it should have arrived today 🙄) and as soon as that arrives we will set about rectifying the lack of venison 80:10:10's currently in stock.

Lamb Tripe & Chicken/Duck will both be available on the website again tomorrow (Tuesday) evening along with Beef & Chicken/Duck and Turkey 80:10:10.

We're busy manufacturing food every day; we do try not to run out of anything but we don't always get the predictions of what stock we will need correct. However, if we're running short of any of the minces, rest assured, there is always production of more planned in. If anything that you are waiting for is out of stock please add yourself to the waiting list on the website and you'll get a notification the second that we add stock!

We will be closed from 4pm on Monday 23rd December and will reopen on Friday 3rd January 2025

w/c 23rd December – order deadline Friday 20th December
We will be open for collections from 10am – 4pm Monday 23rd December.
Our usual Thursday delivery route will be moved to Monday 23rd December. Friday deliveries will be on Tuesday 24th December. Subscription renewal dates will be brought forward where necessary to facilitate this.
Any orders received after Friday 20th December will not be available until w/c 30th December.

That's an impressive haul of packaging collected from deliveries on Friday that we can reuse! Thank you to everyone who continues to return their packaging. It doesn't always look as smart as we would like when we deliver to you but reusing packaging is one of the things that helps us to keep our costs down, as well as being better for the planet of course!

We're sure there are other uses for these bags once they've passed their useful packaging life. We've seen them used to protect windscreens from frost when it gets chilly but are certain there's loads of other uses for them. Anyone do anything inventive with them?
