Hello everyone 😅

So, not my usual post, and I really hate sounding dramatic ever, but just a follow up from my post earlier….

I had a bit of an accident in the gym this morning, fell from height and caused a pretty high impact dislocation and avulsion fracture to my knee 🙈 waiting to hear back from the consultants tomorrow morning as to whether or not it needs surgery.

So yes, in true self employed style, I was lying on the floor with my leg looking like a zig zag and my first thought was, I better put a post out to warn my clients today that I won’t be there 😅😂 so yeh, sorry if it was a bit abrupt, but here we are 😄

Obviously I don’t know the full extent of it yet, but I do know that I’m going to be out of action for quite a while, so at this point, I’m so so sorry but I am going to have to cancel all foreseeable appointments 😔 I’m truly sorry as I know this is far from ideal for people, but I don’t want to mess people around anymore than need be by guessing when I might be back, I literally can’t even put any weight on it right now (I tried to in the ambulance and it popped out again but luckily popped straight back in 🙈)

I will be sitting and trying to get through as many messages as possible to speak to people directly, but again my sincere apologies for the inconvenience to all my clients, and I will do my best to recommend alternatives for you.

Finishing today with the biggest handsome boy Freddie, out in the garden for a sunshine photo to show off his gorgeous new doo ✂️🐩

Sorry iv been quiet on here, I’m just my usual wee busy self working away, and honestly just wanted to share with you all how happy I am to be working from home now, and what a difference it has made to my work life balance! Since the day i started my business all those years ago I have ALWAYS had to factor in the cost of rent and business utilities! And now I am so grateful to be able to do this from home (and I now understand why everyone else has done this for so long as well 😅🙌)

I have cut back on my workload this year as I mentioned, and it has enabled me to provide a better quality of service than ever and be able to enjoy my job again for what it is. I am exited to be bringing some new and improved upgraded products to my wee salon ✨

So with that, I am now fully booked until mid August 😱 I am unable to take on any new clients, and am now unfortunately unable to take on existing clients who get new dogs (unless we have already discussed ones as of recent)

Please book well in advance and consider booking up the rest of the year if possible, I won’t be doing any Xmas mad weeks this year 😅🙏 it will be normal hours from now on so once my spaces are gone for the year, they are gone!

These posts normally bring a large amount of messages so please bare with me for the next few days as I get through them, especially the block bookings!

Gorgeous wee Poppy and her puppy dog eyes 🥹❤️

Just to say that booking in advance is essential to avoid disappointment! My books are closed, I am full until the end of June and have limited space for the rest of the year!

If people are struggling for appointments, it may be worth looking up Highlands all4paws and also Barking Mad, as they have both confirmed they are able to take on new clients and both Inverness based 🥰

⛔️ BOOKS CURRENTLY CLOSED ⛔️

I’m afraid I have had to close my books once again to new clients due to being at full capacity!

I was able to open up to new clients a few weeks ago, and boy you lot did not hang about 😅🙏 and I am so thrilled to have welcomed some lovely new faces to the salon and look forward to all your future visits!

Thank you so so much to all my amazing clients old, current, and new, for keeping me so busy over the years 🤍🤍 I have 2 bosses now, and they are keeping me on my toes 😆

It was out with the black and pink decor and in with the white 🤍 and also some new uniforms from which I absolutely love!! Scrubs for the win!

Currently fully booked until the 27th May, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Handsome boy Dougal in for his bath, blow dry and deshed 🥰❤️

Shedding season is here, and you can’t beat a bath and high velocity dryer to do the job 💪 finished with a zoom groom, nail trim and ear clean. The first day you will normally notice a lot of shedding hair as the coat has been stimulated to do so, but you will notice a significant difference in the following days/weeks. You can never completely eliminate shedding hair, it has to happen. But you can massively reduce it at these times of the year when it’s at its peak!

Dougie 😍🥰 in for his first ever puppy groom 🤍 the best puppy manners ever!!

Puppy grooms involve a bath, blow dry, full brush out, nails clipped, eyes trimmed, feet tidied and a wee trim round the bum 🍑

It’s a lot to ask a young dog to visit the groomers for the first time and expect the full works! So this is a great introductory session in preparation for the longer full groom sessions when they require a full haircut!

When to get puppy grooms is a commonly asked question. So long as they are at least a fortnight on the other side of their 2nd vaccinations, and are allowed out to socialise and go for walks etc, then they are allowed in the salon. And the sooner the better, as introducing them from a young age with a short and sweet puppy groom will set them up for a far more positive experience in the long run! 🤍

So I’m delighted to say that I am able to open up space for a couple of new clients, there will be space available for 4 new people to join the books 🥳🥳🥳 I haven’t been able to do this for a very long time so I’m very excited to welcome a couple of new faces 🥰

I know it’s not a lot of spaces but more might become available by summer time, I will always post up here my availability for you.

As always, my policies stand firmly in place, no shows or less than 24 hours notice to cancel will incur the full price of the groom in order to rebook, this is to cover costs of the space that I cannot fill at short notice. Failure to do this will result in no more future appointments.

Just a wee heads up, I was meant to have next Monday off (4th) as I was meant to be competing at hyrox Glasgow, however I had to pull out after not making it to the gym for so long and being busy with the move etc, so I have decided to open up Monday the 4th march next week for appointments 😁 these are open to anyone and everyone 🥳 (albeit I can’t do extra big dogs anymore due to the size of my bath) so give me a shout if you’re interested xx
